It definitely works with the Switch, but it seems like you need to do some button remapping at the system level for it to have the correct buttons for Online games.

Fun fact - I got into a major “declutter” phase a couple years ago. Decided to sell my Ps1, PS2, and N64 stuff. I sold a perfect N64 with box and everything plus a copy of the gold versions in box of each Zelda. All opened along with other boxed games for significant dollars.
At the time I had a tub of other n64 games at my grandparents farm. Didn’t sell those. Fast forward last year and I’m there and go to get the games. I find my star fox 64 but someone had removed the game and left a mint condition box. Pretty sure it was my brother. I sold the box by itself for $50 on eBay. Nintendo collectors are weird.

I was an avid starfox and starfox 64 fan… so I will be all on this.
My first job was part work “Americanizing” jewelry pins - like those little “5 year” pin with a fake ruby etc. i took them off the long paper strip, pushed them into a foam backer, flipped the 20x20 foam grid over, put the backs on then ripped out the foam square and put them in little plastic presentation boxes- it was now… made in America (back then, now i think its assembled in America) i got like… 5 cents per? Dunno… worked all summer and bought… StarFox 64 w rumble pack!!!

I'm super disappointed that this a remake. Can someone lock Miyamoto in a basement with a gaming pc and copies of X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, Freespace 2, Freelancer, Wing Commander, etc.?
This is an easy sell for the male gamer demographic: "You are an ace pilot in a spaceship and you fly around with your bros and blow a bunch of shit up." SIGN ME THE FUCK UP THATS ALL I WANT IN A SPACE GAME, THANK YOU.
They could have made a new game with gigantic space battles between hundreds of starfighters, but instead they remade Starfox 64. Space battles between dozens of giant capital ships bristling with weaponry, blowing each other up as you weave in between them, but instead they remade Starfox 64. Assaulting a hidden pirate fleet hiding in a dense asteroid field, but instead they remade Starfox 64. Fighting a bunch of battlemechs with jump jets using the urban terrain of a city to play cat and mouse with your aircraft, but instead they remade Starfox 64.
ASSAULTING A GIGANTIC SPACE STATION AND FLYING INSIDE IT TO BLOW UP THE REACTOR CORE LIKE IT WAS THE SECOND DEATH STAR DURING THE BATTLE OF ENDOR, BUT INSTEAD THEY REMADE STARFOX 64.
2+ decades of technological advancement in console gaming and you spend time remaking an old game, instead of making a game similar to it, but much bigger and grander in scope.
