A nice asshole.
Send them on nodes that give +1 attack even if you aren't using the weapons.am getting lots if samurai locks, far more than ninja which is what I need. any ideas? rng?

Don't think it's random, they mostly come from chests and amrita orbs that are in fixed locations. Some from bosses and missions too. I have 100 ninja and 94 samurai so it's pretty balanced overall.am getting lots if samurai locks, far more than ninja which is what I need. any ideas? rng?
how does that work? say if you use tonfa 90pct of the time does it benefit from +1 odachi skill?Send them on nodes that give +1 attack even if you aren't using the weapons.
Yes.how does that work? say if you use tonfa 90pct of the time does it benefit from +1 odachi skill?
Man I never thought about that. Just slogged my way through Demon of Pride at level 54 with the big axe. Think I'm done with that weapon for Nioh, it's way too slow. Shame because I love big ass weapons in most games.how does that work? say if you use tonfa 90pct of the time does it benefit from +1 odachi skill?
Just block, eventually you will parry but if you low stance axe and block you can get him.Still in the first area. Got to the boss gauntlet thing at the end (feel the pacing is a bit off with that, with no bosses then suddenly 4-5?). The guy you fight like 3 times, who is now a yokai, is giving me trouble. Jumps around and slams down alot. All I can do is dodge. Can't hit him with my axe and my ninja gets killed really fast. Even with the rez scrolls, he wombos me then keeps up the attacks so I often die as I come back. Had him at like... one hit, one ninja star, then panic dodged instead of attacking and he killed me. Did an alt+f4 after that.
Now I am calming down playing the cat tactic game....
Note: I don't mind that I finally after 20 hours encountered a mob that requires me to git good. Problem seems to be that I'm not![]()
That goes against my core..... what if I need them... later?

No, high imbue values only appear on crucible weapons in the slot that replaces the default affix on the weapon. Reforging never gets any better than the 3 you're seeing now.Is there any way to increase the imbue value on reforge equipment? I was rolling with a cestus that had +54 paralysis, and wanted to switch to lightning but the reforge is only +3.
Axe is top tier in every Nioh but like all weapons just have to build towards it. Spear and odachi went well together in my first play through the crawl up the pole and slam it down combo enders were strong and the pole vault kick with spear does insane Ki damage. What's a good weapon to main in Nioh 2? And what Guardian Spirit to take at the beginning?
It has some serious "paralysis by analysis" at the beginning, giving you 11 weapons to pick from and 3 Guardian Spirits. What is this, Pokemon?
I really wanted to try the Spear in one of these, and Low Stance Spear seems to work really well. High Stance Axe works well in Nioh 1 while being kinda ass in Nioh 2, I hear? Then again I've looked at a few lists and they all ranked the Spear pretty low, with things like Fist winning out. I get the feeling Fist (and Switchglaive, and the staff) are super high skill-ceiling weapons, being the new ones. As someone with low-ish skill (only as much as I needed to get through Sekiro and all the Soulsbornes), a high skill ceiling isn't gonna do much for me.
I tried a few things and started over. I know the weapon choice at the start is mainly about the stats (went with Constitution and Heart) rather than the weapons. They got rid of the Spirit stat and split Stamina's effects between two stats, Stamina and Courage. I kinda wish they would have just dropped another stat and consolidated effects instead. The stats are so good/important that it's impossible to get everything you need without having some weak points from stats falling off (or having everything be Mid because you have to spread points around so much). Can't get away with stat-pooling as much as in other games of this type.
Nioh 2 is so much smoother than Nioh 1 in terms of the speed of the gameplay. Or maybe I'm just imagining it.
