Does the new deep space map replace the galaxy map? This game is amazing and I keep coming back, but the thing that prevents me from ever staying long is the dogshit UI. The galaxy map is a huge part of that. I'd love a better version.

I'm completely out of the loop on the financial model for this game, is it just still box sales or what? How can they possibly continue to support this project and pump out new content, features, requests. Such an oddity with all the other AAA and indie studio things going around that these guys are just quietly out there running NMS.

They are using this project as a test bed for newer games coming, would be my guess as to the financial justification for doing what they are doing. That being said, this company kind of shows what would happen to gaming if the industry did not run on 100% Capital.

It is nice to see in this day and age of wanting to be the next trillionaire(Holy shit that is so high that the dictionary does not recognize the use of this word. It wants to correct back to Millionaire or Billionaire.), that one or two companies get the real idea.

They don't really pump out requests, they do whatever the fuck they want.

NMS still hasn't figured out how to have more than a single biome on an entire planet, regardless of size. A request that has been around as long as the game has.

Light No Fire is the big one they're working on, more of an MMO set on a single planet. I wouldn't be surprised if Sean dropped an emoji one day then released the new game a few days later lol.

I bought this game, forever ago. Every time the release an update I load it back up, even tried VR.

Just cannot get into it. Don't get the make stuff part of it, get owned in space combat by pirates almost immediately.
