EVGA 3070 Ti came in today. New. Big. MSRP because 3070 things. 3 fan arrangement is louder than 2 fan on EVGA 2070 XC Ultra Megapants it rpelaced. Not annoying, but I have no other directive other than to blame it on Mist.

Expensive space heater with benefits.
Melted backside VRAM, very benefit.

As someone who likes ITX form factors, I am concerned about the next generation of cards with backside memory. I don't have the PCI spacing to run backside waterblocks either, so I am pretty concerned about any card that I would buy in the future that has memory on the backside of the PCB.

yeah 3070 and 3070ti's have been up at best buy for hours, end of the saga until the 40xx line

Anyone thinking of buying an evga soon and doing a stepup as soon as the 40xx's drop? Seems like best of both worlds, but there are a ton of rules around stepup now like which cards you are eligible for, only 90 day window, etc so not sure what works and what doesn't.

FTW3 1080 is $1050 at bby been in stock for weeks

It's funny how the one thing you can't actually buy is the one card that's actually worth the fucking money, the 3080 FE.

My electric bill is around 250 a month. Couple gaming PC's and a retired mother living with me with nothing to do but keep EVERYTHING on in the house.
I know we like to joke about your eyesight but serious question..are you sure it's your mother?

One time my mom didn’t have her glasses on and she pet a giant sewer rat that came up to her, thinking it was a cat. Brahma Brahma could be in a similar situation.

like gSync, overclocks to 160hz, rez is nice and not a bit too wide like the 5120x monitors, IPS is a big positive, but too bad about only HDR400. Better than my current alienware 34 though which is HDR0 :(

great monitor. not one you'd use with HDR, so I wouldn't flag that as a reason not to get it.

oh, and there's a whole thread for Desktop Gaming Monitors!
