my friend says he found a full built system with a 3080 that was 1600 and is shipping soon. can he rip out the card and turn a profit selling it on ebay for more than that?

He will get over 1000 tho - I've decided i will just take it slow and let xotic pc do my build rather than fight Jensen and friends to secure a card if i dont score my 3090 next week - I cant do my build till AMD does their cpu release anyways. It was going to be a no compromise build so may as well get it done with a warranty.

I've decided that unless I win one, I all going all in on AMD this time, unless they just flat out flop. Then I will buy whatever is best after Oct 28th that fits in a NZXT H1. Or whatever, I have PCs with a 2080TI and 1080TIs respectively. I will survive until Q1 when this shakes out.

I wouldnt mind doing this - depends on the card - problem is AMD is being too slow/reserved and i dont want to wait till november

Timing. Notice today on Amazon they're having sales on the Nvidia cards I was thinking about buying, I have less than zero need for a 3080/3090 all bundled with an AMD 3600 CPU, the same CPU I just bought. Timing lol. I've read on other forums that someone has a 1080 60hz monitor trying to get a 3080 jeeze the hype was real.

Well there goes 3090 chance, lol that explains why literally no one saw anything sell but everything was gone - Honestly if they had allowed preordered and made people call in orders this could have likely been avoided some.

Like I said - scalpers in general are fine (i'd never pay, but that's personal). Botting and depleting stock is gay.
