I stand corrected. My apologies, good sir. That’s a pomegranate, retard.
Dude read the last few posts. There are apps that listen.

Facebook isn’t eavesdropping, but the truth is more disturbing
A longstanding conspiracy is the tale of how Facebook is listening in on your conversations, but the way it is actually serving you ads is much more unsettling.newatlas.com

Is your phone really listening to you? Here's what we know
Leaked documents from ad tech firm CMG point to smartphone voice data being collected and used for targeted advertising purposes.www.newsweek.com

The whole video is based around the phone knowing he’s eating a pomegranate without him telling it.What kind of straight, heterosexual man knows what a Pomegranate is?

I disagree with you, I often have items pop up in my ads and youtube that I have discussed with others and haven't looked up at all. I've even turned off all the listening stuff on almost every app. I don't know how they're doing it but it is occurring.

Well, I have a pomegranate tree in my backyard, grew up with the things. Still don't like 'em.What kind of straight, heterosexual man knows what a Pomegranate is?

It was shared among entities one way or another before those bits were even dry. Not to mention that ad networks cover almost every website imaginable and aggregate your visits. Big tech doesn't need your browser history to know your browsing history. (although it'll still happily take it when possible!)I'm betting they didn't delete it either.
If you are connected to the internet, just assume everything you do/did is being stored somewhere. If you don't want it, disconnect from the internet.

WTF dude, how many times have you given your face and ID to whateverthefuck.com??A VPN keeps the data from being assigned to you if you aren't logged into services, but me and my buddies agreed forever VPN use is an inconvenience however small we are unwilling to tolerate and just don't care enough to consistently use it. It slows down video playback and streaming can't really run smoothly through a VPN. Gaming is OK, but if shopping or using a website that has security protocols (stock exchange sites, crypto, etc) you will trigger verification protocols and that's just a whole headache dealing with Indian tech support and sending your driver license and personal info and facial ID.
I remember not even using a VPN but using a laptop in a different town and they refused to verify my license and face ID because my IP address was showing up as out of state. I told them I'm just in a different location not far from my residence but they wouldn't budge. A VPN can cause these problems on steroids.
They already have years and years of data on each individual archived since Snowden leaked the existence of the datacenters and the scope of how much data is being collected and saved.
