So I have a conference I'm attending in NYC today through Wed and I don't have much planned for the nights. Are there any really cool clubs/bars or anything else I can get into to keep me out of the hotel room in the evenings? The people I'm going with aren't really into all of that, but I don't mind exploring on my own. I'm also from NY originally, but I never did much in NYC.

Cake has been getting a lot of attention lately. It's a Wednesday night thin at the Pink Elephant. 40 West 8th St.

This guy, Whoo Kid, usually DJ's for it. He's also the DJ for 50 Cent and some other rappers. Supposed to be a great time with tons of "bitches with moisture".

If you're into comedy, the Comedy Cellar always brings the laughs. Usually has a solid celebrity set too.
