We hadindividual threadswith over 1m posts on FOH IIRC (PGT and FSR). I also think we had around 10k users online at a single time on FOH, if we're going to bandy about random numbers. Flames also relies almost entirely on random viewers who go there to google EQ2 info - and most don't bother to register. It's clear simply from the ratio of users:guests that Flames "population" is artificially pumped up by random EQ2 players googling for infoz, so have fun when EQ2 finally fades into obscurity.
By comparison our community never really relied on any particular game, in that our people still come together regardless of what games they are playing or what forum address we happen to be hanging our collective hats on. If Rerolled were to go tits up I bet we'd meet up somewhere else eventually. And to be honest I'd wager that Rerolled would still beat Flames in just about any objective measurement that matters (traffic, Alexa, etc). I just randomly picked a site to compare traffic with and this is what I get:
And we're coming back from losing our longtime home and moving not once but twice. What's your excuse? Without the random EQ2 tards desperately googling for info online and going to Flames because the official forums are terrible and there is shit for alternatives, Flames would just be another forum with tumbleweeds rolling through. And discounting guests, I've been seeing us with about 175-200 users logged in tonight and Flames with about 50-60 users logged in.

LOL, um EQ2 sucks and EQ2Flames was sold to an advertising company over two years ago? The site sucks now and has sucked for going on three years. That doesn't change that when it was popular it had pretty decent traffic for what it was.
I would hope this site gets more traffic than Flames - Flames is a ghost town as it should be, it's only kept up because of the ads.
Well no shit. Flames was formed in 2006. It's a site for a game that is almost 10 years old. I'm just impressed it has even lasted this long. It was a niche forum for a niche game and it's lived 7 years.

Flames never held a candle to this community or FOH, even at the apex of Flame's popularity.

I never said it did. I simply refuted the remark made in the post I quoted with stats from the sites showing that while Flames ISNTOMGFOHAWESOME it was pretty respectable for what it was.
It was a niche fansite for a niche MMO during WoW's heyday. I'm surprised it ever really went anywhere tbh.

I never meant to compare it to FoH at all and the ONLY reason I compared it to Rerolled was for context. Here Duppin is on Rerolled making some huge thread about me to "out" me and "expose" me but when I tell him that all of this shit is simply rehashed stuff that has been on Flames for over half a decade he tells me that it doesn't count because literally 3 people ever read Flames.
So if Flames doesn't count why does this thread on this site count? That was my point. Not some bullshit about traffic or popularity. Calm down asshole.

FOHguild.org was separate from the FOH community, and had been for a long fucking time. Most people just didn't realize what was going on in the background until the Donkeypocalypse hit.
FOH is still alive and well, both the guild and this community. And if Rerolled dies, then FOH will move again. Let's not kid ourselves, Draegan isn't just hosting forums for us because he has some sort of soft spot in his heart for this community.

The guild may be alive but the community isn't. The is a fracture of the FoH community at best. There are a lot of longtime FoH regulars who do not post here. It's a splinter of it. It's cool what Draegan has done but let's not call it FoH.
I'm trying to imply that if "nobody" read the numerous threads about me on Flames, that still exist, then "nobody" is going to read this one either so the "exposing" that Duppin thinks he is doing is a waste of time. Period. That's it. There was nothing more to it. You simply read too far into my comment because you're an idiot.

There are tons of familiar names that have come and gone for over a decade now, easily. It's always happened and it will always happen. We could probably make a list of 100+ of the more notable names that vanished long before the forum closed. If this is an alien concept to you then you've probably never been a part of a community like that then.
No you weren't. If you simply wanted to show that Flames had activity then you could have talked about Flames in generic terms instead of trying to draw a disingenuous comparison.

I never compared total posts at all you inbred. I did make a comment about Flame's total post count but never even mentioned Rerolled's. The only comparison I made was to concurrent users.

Yes. I used a reference to support my argument in context. Duppin said "nobody reads that shitty little site" so I provided factual evidence stating otherwise. I used total post count to show that someone was fucking reading/posting there because it has over 2 million posts. I didn't make all of them by myself.
The concurrent user comparison I made because it does hold credence in context. The most concurrent users this site has had so far is 900ish. Even though the site is a year old I don't view that stat as being skewed like total post count because in a site like this, which was formed to bring the community together from an already existing site I think the membership is going to peak at the beginning tbh.
So if 900 people using this site means Duppin is "exposing" me then how did 2,400 people suddenly become nobody when referencing this material about me that has been available there for years?
