This was... long. It was good, but outside Sensei and maybe Bob sucked. Not that they were portrayed poorly, but that they as people sucked. Perfidia seemed to be like something Tucker Carlson drew up in his mind. Lockjaw was just all over the place and his only defining characteristic was being an A-type personality who never unclinched his asshole. All the French 75 people folded immediately under pressure or just sucked at their jobs.
The first 40ish minutes felt like a movie. The following 2 hours felt like a movie that was probably 30 minutes too long. The Christmas Adventurer's Club is pretty hilarious because an organization like that would have the gayest childish name possible. They'd also probably secretly be fucking each other, but that'd probably be a little over the top.
Overall maybe 8/10, but fuck it was long.

Didn't get shut off but 3rd act dragged. Not really a movie I will ever see again, it'd get shut off. Not enough going on outside of DiCaprio and Del Toro. Lockjaw was a lowlight, per the reviews. He's overracting throughout and came across as a toon. He could have taken it down a notch and the scenes would have carried better.

Made it about 15 mins last night before shutting off, i'll finish a bit at a time but boy that main black chick is ugly as sin and every old white guy around is horny as hell for her. So yeah, Hollywood.
starts off way more action-y than I expected so thats nice. having a tough time placing the movie though since it leans heavily into anti-ICE/borders (starting mid 2010s issue), we have cell phones, but everyone is also driving old ass cars, using outdoor telephone booths, and there are parking coin machines everywhere. I assume a time skip to 15-20 year future is incoming but odd framing for the movie.
I already despise everyone on screen so thats great.

this was like a shitty 90s steven seagal movie without one liners or good action. dumb ending, boring the whole way through, and almost no story at all.

I just got around to watching this. The leftist dribble was hilarious. The first part was pure cringe but it gets a lot better after the time jump. I did enjoy the action scenes. It wasn't a bad movie if you ignore the central premise. For some reason leftists think white supremacists wouldn't have sex with a black woman when all the slave owners were doing that back in the day when people were a lot more rascist! I lost it when the tatted up neo nazi called the Indian guy a wagon burner. Jesus everything in this was so over the top. I don't know if it was unintentional humor or not.
I didn't like the ending though. A hardass like lockjaw wouldn't have went out like that. End of the movie should have been him capping all the Christmas club guys and riding off into the sunset with his black girlfriend.

It actually ends up being a pretty solid movie once the time skip kicks in. I was close to bailing during the first 15-20 minutes because it starts rough, but it improves a lot after that. The key is to treat it as what it is - fiction. If you go in trying to map every scene to real-world politics or history, you're going to miss the point and end up frustrated.
DiCaprio really does some great acting, and the entire scene sequence between him and Sensei (BDT's character) is genuinely hilarious. Once the movie settles into that groove, it's way more enjoyable than the opening would lead you to believe.
