Anytime my family gets together, we like to play various card games. I'm trying to find an online version where you can play with specific friends. There seems to be a million single player versions that I rather not install every one trying to find one that's works

boardgamearena has both Spades and Hearts in its library of games. Neither game is a "premium" game on the site so you can host and play both games for free.

If you like trick taking games you might want to check out "The Crew", also free on the site is highly rated as a cooperative trick taking variant.

Oh, I hear you. It's a hassle to sift through endless apps just to find one that lets you play with friends. Reminds me of when I was hunting for a good online solitaire game that wasn't cluttered with ads. Eventually stumbled upon a site where I could play with friends. Have you checked out platforms like Tabletopia or Board Game Arena? They offer a variety of card games for multiplayer fun with specific friends.
