Playingcards.io Nothing to install, just on their site. We use this to play random card games with friends/family. Can even fully customize tables/games.

boardgamearena has both Spades and Hearts in its library of games. Neither game is a "premium" game on the site so you can host and play both games for free.

If you like trick taking games you might want to check out "The Crew", also free on the site is highly rated as a cooperative trick taking variant.

Yeah, this is a common problem—tons of apps, but most are solo or full of ads. You actually want browser-based multiplayer with private rooms.
A couple solid ones that people use:
CardzMania – probably the easiest. No download, no signup, and you can host private tables for friends with loads of games like Hearts, Rummy, Spades
Trickster Cards – really good if you want a more “real” feel, even has optional video chat and custom rules
PlayingCards.io – more like a digital table, you share a link and play whatever you want manually (great for family-style games)
