Yeah, she's a lot cuter. First time seeing her with hair. She looks like a young Gina Carano.

As long as they are well made I don't give a crap how dumb the premise is for a shoot em up.

I have seen much much worse when it comes to movies. On some level you could argue this was actually not very bad. It wasn't very good but for what it was it executed pretty well. It is almost nothing but a corridor shoot-em-up soldiers vs. alien grunts. It wouldn't surprise me if they built a single 30-ft alien hallway and used it to film 95% of the movie using only different angles and set decoration. There's also not a single reload in the movie until 1hr20min in when Linda Hamilton runs out and then conveniently as the plot winds down around 1hr35m the rest of the soldiers do as well.

Hamilton doesn't show up until an hour in and really isn't a huge part.

Cool that the aliens are all practical effects (or at least majority it seems as I'm sure there's post clean up) and not all CGI mess. It adds a lot of character to the movie.

The major "check your mind at the door" thing is that it is all just endless hordes of grunts running into soldiers with infinite ammo until the plot requires them to run out. But it is sort of unapologetic at that and competently done. I just really expected this to be SciFi movie of the week bad and was pleasantly surprised. 4.9/10 is a travesty on IMDB, there's no way it is that bad.
