Most of these Netflix movies are pretty shit and Mackie has like no acting range. He's fine when he's doing the dumb one liner thing, but he's mostly pretty shit otherwise. This is probably going to be a shitty movie.

They remind me of early Lions Gate movies. You watched them knowing they would be half assed and low budget but you’re bored as fuck so why not.

I liked Bright, but that's because I'm a sucker for Shadowrun and that's probably the closest we're gonna get to see it live acted.

There's some mid tier Sci-fi that is okay to watch like Code 8 and Time Trap. But it's always going to be budget versions of X rather than purely original material.
