We still play this once a week or so, except our tank is in Alaska for a few weeks sans internets.

We pick a new spot, and it's sort of like gaming with buddies playing D&D with an inexperienced DM who has a campaign with not many details. Still fun in parts.

I appreciate the slower pace, and challenge without it being TOO obnoxious. There are high rewards for long quests in dungeons, think of having to crawl around a big Sebilis like dungeon, and farm ground spawns in different spots. It encourages an afternoon of dungeon grinding. CC is very important, and everyone has a role in the group.

They pretty much removed all solo mobs. Starting a new character at 1, you will barely kill even cons, and can solo to say 4. But once lvl 1s go grey, you might as well group. I can kill a green con at 15, but it takes everything I've got and literally gives 1/20th the exp you would get with one orange con in a group.

This is still a shell of a game, but they are actually adding stuff and masteries, but it is suuuuper slow, same pace as it has been since the 1980s when they first started.

Not nearly enough content to give it an accurate rating, but 5/10 for me WITH friends.

somehow I felt this new super slow was due to the original where lvl15-18 was peak content and drops way off after that. everything was a choir after that, going off the orc camp or snowy mountains that was not fun or hard to find groups. or doing ghosts getting trained over and over again.
So why not just dial back and in their mind let players do bears, dungeon entrance, or cuthroats a little longer. which is also, not the solution
