they just nerfed (easy to find) four mod. jado had a thing that said "20 percent chance to double map mods" which could make 3 mod tablets turn into 3-6 mods possible. but now its "up to 40 percent more gooder map" which i have not seen taht turn into a new boss mod so i think we're now limited to 3mods unless you align the stars on some goofy shit in the atlas. there are still entries there that are like "unique/boss have %chance to get +1 mod" and beastmaster lady has one too.
You could also run 3 tablets and standing stones / temple (a temple node can spawn an armoured monkey). to get monke i think.
I'me in a similar boat in that i'm wanting to do scorpian, but t he scorpian is mesa/arid plains, but i have not seen but 1 of each the WHOLE TIME....but i saw like 9 sandspit so here i am with the landshark instead. not sure i like the blood-incision/rupture setup. it works but i keep thinking its not as maximized as "just do more damage".

Wolf Pack - 60 spirit.
Sandstrider - temporal bubble, breaks armor, extra fire damage - 47.4%
Spirit vessel - Lunar Blessing rampage, muster, (free)

the diretusk i'm just using because its my only haste aura that isn't slow moving as shit i've found so far. the crab matriarch is a filler. the wasp, nymph, crag leaper and quill crab are full slotted gangsters. they get in the fight fast, consume almost no space, use very little spirit.
i think i can only fit one more animal into the build at this point due to just running out of skill slots. but i always want to have a 'tame beast' equipped so i don't even know if i'll do that. Muster is doing heavy lifting heh.
