There was a content patch in April that introduced the huntress, spears, skills for spears and a bunch of supports. It was not a huge amount of content with the addition of rogue exiles and a "follow this wisp" mechanic that was very similar to possession ghosts in PoE1. The next content patch should be in a month or so but there's been not much if any info on it yet.

Sounds like the update about the update is coming soon:

My guess is a new act but still no new classes or weapons. They really move at a glacial pace for some reason.....definitely not a programmer, but why is everything moving so slow when 80% is just revamping POE1 stuff?

I really want to play this again but it just doesn't seem worth it.

Yeah they don't even seem to be trying to make it its own game, sure the combat and certain systems are different, but aside from the retarded atlas system, what else is really "new"?

Going to watch the teaser on the 20th but doubt I'll log in.

I'm willing to log in if there is something that catches my eye but if it ends up being another Raise Spectre situation (thing I'm there for is featured prominently in the promotional material but ends up being terrible) I'm bailing immediately. No respec. No reroll. I'm just going to close up shop and move on to something else.

I'm really hoping they don't do the same shit they did last content patch where they held the patch notes until right before launch and even then didn't provide gem data. They can take that design philosophy and shove it up their collective asses.

What is that design philosophy? I thought the notes weren't prepared until the last minute, but PoE2 is full of head scratchers, so anything is plausible at this point.

I suppose I might be inferring it as a purposeful decision to obfuscate the game in favor of player discovery rather than everyone running around with their hair on fire trying to get the project out on time.

It might be more the second than the first.

a dreamcore vid I watched earlier this morning, he said they will release the notes right after the stream for .3(not sure where he got that info tho)

Ggg is basically using this game to make money and making Poe for people who love to game. Poe2 is basically meant to be fodder for the soulless Asian types who are used to even more mindless grindy p2w trash, and for them this is a breath of fresh air. But they can’t make it too different from that stuff as Asians generally despise big changes and like to be in their comfort zone. I’ll try the new leagues to just see the new acts but I don’t expect this game to have any kind of legs the way poe1 does, it’s just cotton candy
