Man finished the TQ2 early access stuff. Then logged into this. This engine looks godawful comparatively.

I'm at 1440p on both, no upscaling. RX 9070 so like 100+ FPS on both and can max settings. Something about these POE2 textures is Everquest 2-ish. There's like an amateurish detail texture on most everything.

Maybe I can't find the right settings? What is the deal. o_O

The friction involved in trading was a mudflation hedge. If the friction is removed then most people will end up buying everything they wear and not bother to pick any armor and weapons up; or at least this will occur much sooner in a league. On the other hand the trading experience was getting obnoxious and was bound to be addressed at some point. I don't have an answer to this but I'm glad they held out for so long, personally. (maybe gold will limit this)

I think most people ended up buying what they needed rather than loot the upgrades they really wanted anyways, I certainly did for the couple months I played. I played a witch pet spec and basically had to buy my upgrades once I was out of the campaign because even through the campaign it was hard to get any +3 or higher minion level type items.

Either they have a decent trading system in place, have a decent vendor system in place, have a decent crafting system in place, have a decent lotto crafting system in place as in give me more mats to gamble but also not make me brick my good gear, or have a decent target loot system in place to farm, to get the items you want.

People are still going to have to loot good stuff to sell anyways. Streamlining the system so you don't have to go outside the game to gear yourself is a step in the right direction, don't know why it took them 10 years to figure that out. It just really sucked feeling like you were always looting for someone else, I would prefer to loot my own upgrades, but unfortunately the game did a terrible job of that, dunno how much that has improved cause I haven't played since like feb, but looting was suppose to be one of the fun aspects of playing arpgs.

Ahh yes, the hilarious argument that an Auction House makes people stop picking things up.

Happens in every game with an AH. Just nothing at all on the AH because everyone stops picking stuff up because they can just buy stuff off the... wait... Oops guess that doesn't make sense!!!

Takes time for ideas this substantial to be prototyped and thoroughly tested. Remember that the currency exchange debuted 6 to 9 months after he left.

I mean somebody has to be picking up the shit to sell, right? If everyone is just buying shit from the market, who the fuck is picking it up and selling it?

If not for the loot, wtf are you doing playing and grinding the end game in arpg? The story?

To be fair the idea was prototyped and thoroughly tested by other games with fully functional Auction Houses that players in PoE itself modeled their own stash tabs after with "dump" pricing for the entire tab.

PoE has had pseudo AH functionality for years. This shit was long overdue and is still a bit of a Rube Goldberg machine though not nearly as bad as Last Epochs implementation

Yeah, but once released, the currency exchange and now the full exchange are never going away, so they have to be sure it works by itself and within their specific games too.

I've never played MG in LE, what's bad about it?
