Here's my plant chronomancer if you are curious. its more of a wip. mostly ssf. except the chest.

Theres not a TON of synergy with plants. they do just all scale with cast speed, and aoe, so, quicksand hourglass is just raw power, if not any real interesting mechanic.
Recoup for near immortality.

Entangle is 102% slow by itself with basically no investment in slow mag..
I am also considering effigy of cruelty.
dps is slowing down at t8. but overall high. its just not CoC comet vomit level.
DPS is very hard to calculate.
shock, impale, overgrowth, armor shred, accelerated growth, fissures, blind.
Thunderstorm 100% shock chance. living lightning. living lighting can proc impale.
Entangle spam with tapping thunderstorm for clearing.
Accelerated growth alone in basic entangle is like 3 blossoms.
with branching fissures 2, is anywhere from 3-8
Accel growth's blossoms scale per hit, at the same rate as entangles fissures.
example level 21 entangle.
127-190 fissure.
33-49 vines. x3/s
127-190 accel growth.
Listed dps is only fissures. spam casting. not even sure if they shotgun.
but accel growth is 4x-9x dps.. of base.
Thrashing vines does list dps.
accel growth seems to spawn 1 blossom per vine gen. which is 2 per cast time.. which will vary with faster cast. again not listed in dps.
blindside in thrashing vines, since entangle is applying blind. That disciple build seems to have this backwards. they have blindside in entangle. which would prevent it from applying blind..
I also don't know why they use Heft over, a bunch of other things. heft is 30% more max phys. which is 15% more overall. Conc effect is 30% more area damage. brutality 3 is 30% more phys damage, and 20% chance to ignore armor.. both entangle and thrashing vines are 100% physical and area damage for us.
Pounce is super good as I noted. As a movement skill which can leap over rivers, etc.
applies predators mark, which is 4% increased damage for each of its enemies within 6 meters of it up to 60%
(Living lighting is 8, wolf pack is 6, im 1, and pounce is another 6-7 potential..but they die too much to count.
8+6+1=15 x4 is 60% anyway.
wolf pack. loyalty for 10% damage taken. also consume impales.
Briar patch. pounce can charge it. more accel growth blooms.
Have to decide if crit is worth it. better gear? maligaros? effigy?
desensitation, and moment of truth..
and same with the arcane surge. the new surge nodes are pretty powerful. 60% increased spell damage, 12% aoe.
don't have 4th ascend yet. when I do, like drop Apex for time stop/rift. I was running rift for awhile before getting recoup set up.
