The ssf portion of this game still remains leagues worse then 1 at the lower levels. In order to fix it they would have to radically change how you interact with loot. I think the "tier" change was a step in the right direction. I also like how bases are valued more in poe2. At the very high end the crafting gets much better and the SSF kinda starts catching up to 1s, but until you start getting omens and perfects, metas and abyss, you rely on way to many cumbersome systems, like picking up every white and blue item in your preferred build template and id'ing, sorting and more importantly, inventory space. I like the idea where all your currency is held in a separate inventory, whether limited or tied to your stash (probably limited to a stack for each currency). Then your tetris inventory is just used for items. A TP like spell (2-3 second cast) would teleport all your inventory to a dump tab. You could go back and ID it and sorted in much larger batches.

I'd also change the vendor system to refresh every map, campaign and end game.

So my much more experienced buddy showed me that when you have affinities set up (I did) you can just CTRL-left click on things from your inventory to have it moved to your stash, If you have a "dump tab" established, you can ctrl-click and it will fill up without the need to manually drag things over. I had been doing things the very hard way myself for 3+ patches.

I have spent a fair (i.e. a lot, I have all of the specialty/dedicated tabs, including Currency, Gems, Essences, Uniques, Waystones, Flasks, etc,l) amount on stash tabs.

I'm a fucking idiot, I kept randomly dieing for the past 2 days since switching to CI and was getting very annoyed with the build ( and the game ) until after one death I noticed "gogutwo has killed himself". I had that fucking mana pot equipped for god knows how long but since I don't usually have mana issues, I didn't notice. Haven't died once since I removed it :)

I also tried to craft myself a +2 high ES focus, failed 3 fractures (33% chance) and went back to farming.

not play currently, so only have a very basic idea of this league, but breaking games are always interesting

I wouldn't even call that particularly unusual for PoE. Resetting campaign zones to farm a particular league mechanic has been a staple of the game since basically forever.

Temples are rewarding enough though that being able to set up a near-perfect chain of good rooms is pretty strong though. Not sure it's worth making a new character to do it, but if you were rerolling anyway then yea.

If you don't want to make a new character you can group with someone low enough level for altars to still spawn in a convenient location and reset from there. Fub was doing it on stream last night.

Pretty quick.

If this has major economic impacts than GGG is a little boned. Resetting areas in the campaign to stuff yourself with a league mechanic isn't new and has never been against the rules. That they don't have as part of their testing "check the impact of campaign area resets" after all of these years is on them. They just had it pop in with the PoE1 Mercenary league back in June where people were resetting an area because the dudes spawned right at the way point.

Seems like a simple fix is that the rooms in the temple should be the averaged level of the zones you used to build the temple plus a couple, just like Alva's temple in POE1.

With the temples being persistent and some of the reset strats involving a level 62 area a person that returns to the regular game and does T15s is going to "fix" the level of their temple after not a lot of time.

if that were done. GGG is still on Christmas vacation. By the time they come back after the new year is any of this going to even matter.

I've started watching Fubgun's streams the last couple leagues and I still cant quite figure out how he gets out in front of everyone so quick and so consistently. He was already farming out mirror bows before he even started with the Temple shenanigans this league, so him getting a couple hundred more divines at this point is meaningless beyond just getting a bigger e-peen.

Play 12 hours a day and have the knowledge of hundreds and thousands of people given to you nonstop for free and this can happen. Also if you focus on making money in this game and put effort into it, it's very easy as there's very limited affixes right now and high tier currency. The temple shit isn't even his tech he just made a guide. Cutedog had something like this a week ago and as soon as they made the lvl 80 min level patch it was pretty apparent this would happen.

The thing is, at this level, they could make a decent portion of this "200 divs an hour" just mapping with good rare precursor tablets in maps. Resetting campaign zones and shit is tism levels beyond the normal human's tolerance.

He's got the right mindset combined with a willingness to no-life each and every launch for the purpose of currency generation. There's no fucking around.

Doing stuff like chancing a HH--with 3 charms and near max rolls--on day one is "just Fubgun things" every league. (Not referring to the video title, I know that's just him making a joke. It's still a fact that the dude is insanely lucky on top of the number of hours he puts in.)

I do think that if he gets completely skunked on day one or two he opens up the credit card but with the amount of viewers and money I would too.

I had it playing in the background when he chanced that HH. I hadnt thought about RMT. A little bit of extra currency washed through asynch trading early in the game would go a long way to getting ahead of the pack and staying there.

I mean the dude plays 16-20 hours a day the first few days. He doesn't always get lucky like that but he plays enough hours to generate enough luck for clips. If streamer client was real then Quinn would destroy everyone.

I've been watching VODs of TheFarmer. He's got great series where he goes from 0 to a mirror in various forms (imposing his own limits by not being able to resell his crafted gear and only using drops to advance). The series is like an hour or so long, in 3 parts, condensed from like 11 days. You can see as the days go on how much more haggard he looks. Most people forget that the only advantage we had when we played games in college was the amount of poopsocking, and our willingness to go out and meet people to play with. You will never compete as a solo casual.

But I still have enough tinfoil hat in me to admit there is a real possibility of streamer client...
