every god damn new major content reveal in either poe 1or 2 people are getting instantly overhyped and start sucking ggg's dick. Instead they need to take a more critical view. That's the reason for the past few years I've watched nugiyen's reactions to these livestreams. He give much more balanced take on what ggg is trying to shove down our throats than the meta streamer cucks

here's his take, great to have on a 2nd monitor while doing other things

So I watched some of this video and it just comes off as a jaded bitter person which is FORCED to play this shit, because you know, its his fucking job, right? He keeps bitching about the "Ever RNG atlas" as if the average player will ever finish any of the shit they added which isnt RNG anymore. I mean there is literally like a 500+ hours of shit to do there BEFORE you ever get it all done and reach the RNG atlas behind it all. So your average person, like you or I will prob get done with 1 or 2 of the fucking league end game mechanics, if that, then re-roll or just quit. In fact I think your average POE2 player will never finish even one of those.

I think once they showed stats on how many people cleared T15/16 maps, killed pinnacle bosses, etc, and it's ridiculously low. So while there are always valid complaints, most of the complaints comes from the 1% who no life the game. This is true for any game really.

Streamers and people in this thread are the minority player in this game. Of course they will add stuff that caters to casuals to try and get more people.

Everyone cries D4 bad but they make bank with their stuff as dads with 15 kids enjoy it for what it is.

The end game quest line stuff is awesome for me. I never bothered to learn how to reach bosses etc in PoE 1.

Now just follow the quest and end up with the pinnacle boss for each league mechanic.

I have not been hyping myself at all and I like what they are doing. Looking forward to a few weeks grinding.

Same with me. This looks fun and honestly sounds like I can take my time doing all the content. Why is that bad?

It's weird but I really don't care about the no new weapons things. I played so many specs because of all the skill and ascendancy changes last league, and I'm sure I'm going to do the same with all the stuff they shuffle around this league. Couple that with the new crafting, the many changes that will likely come to many skills, two new ascendancies, and a real end-game and I'm fuckin stoked. Maybe it's that I was late to PoE1, perhaps that's why I actually prefer PoE2 by quite a lot.

Yeah, not having 10+ yrs of leagues and league mechanics, end game bosses that average player has no clue how to reach, plus all the baggage of all that shit, is definitely a bonus. They need to do something with this game not to turn into that mess. Quests with tutorials might be the thing? IDK.

This game sorely needed build enabling uniques and I’m thrilled they added some. Only sucks it looks they’re mostly pinnacle boss drop only with super high lvl reqs. I really wanted to league start raven righteous fire but looks like that’s a lvl 90 staff or something insane

A LOT more people complete these things in PoE1, because the Atlas and mapping systems are actually interesting and fun to engage with. Unlike PoE2

To me it just seems like Jonathan has 100s of half-hashed ideas.....seems like there are more and more systems layered on top of each other, and still a lot of issues with the existing ones.

May give this league a try but am still not sure.

Based on Steam achievement data and player base discussions, a small percentage of total Path of Exile (PoE) players fully complete the Atlas, generally estimated to be in the low single digits (e.g., around 0.2% to 3% of total Steam users). [1, 2]

  • Achievement Data: According to one Reddit analysis of Steam achievements, while over 50% of users kill the act 1 boss, only about 15% finish the campaign. [1, 2]
  • "Completed" Defined: For those who finish the campaign, estimates suggest that about 20% of that active player base completes the Atlas. [1]
F2P volume? I mean, sure but these numbers are not as high as you think they are.
