GGG's decision to tie certain leagues to certain BIS items is so fucking retarded. GGG are great at what they do, but they also put out some absolute dogshit league mechanics at times and it's going to be bullshit being forced to slog through those to farm specific items you need for a build.

They said in the Ghazzy interview that they don't want to make a league mechanic like the genesis tree cover every slot because it'll make players feel they need to play a specific league mechanic over another. They also said they don't want it to totally invalidate all rare drops but I feel this argument is weaker as rare drops are already weak and they need to address it sooner or later.

WOW maybe your calling in life is to be a dev and show them how its done. Anyways its certain BIS for certain builds, not all builds. For instance he mentioned minion shit which does not roll on ground loot. and anyways thats the beauty of this game, you dont have to farm shit. You can just continue to farm whatever the fuck you like to farm and just buy it. Options are there. Youre not forced into anything other than maybe running SSF, in which its an entirety different thing.

Great move IMO and I hope they make millions. If any company deserves this its them. I mean how many years of free great shit have they provided us over and over in POE1 and 2? And will continue to do so when this goes 1.0. Now we have 2 free games which are perpetually patched with great content every few months. Best thing Is how passionate these dudes are too. Rare thing to see from AAA or AA studios.
