People with this attitude is the only way the past few pages of this thread make any sense when juxtaposed with the popularity of PoE2.I always had trouble with PoE because I started years late and the amount of systems and mechanics from seasons that went core over the years was just crazy overwhelming. Wanted to start this game from the beginning but everything I've read has not been good.
I mean shit will get added on to for sure as the leagues go on. We all know GGG hates to waste content. And in sure as time goes on it will be more complex. But what they have done so far is slow rolling all the league mechanics out to you at end game or act 4+. Simple quest and a location on the map if you choose to go there or not, or just stick to the main end game fortress shit. Like an actual place you go to on the atlas and interact with it.People with this attitude is the only way the past few pages of this thread make any sense when juxtaposed with the popularity of PoE2.
The irony is that PoE2 is speedrunning system complexity. Far faster than PoE1 did.
Still might check it out. Deeply entrenched in d4 at the moment but I'm kind of hitting that wall where I've done everything this season I wanted to. Just use essence drain for single target dps. It's stupidly strong early onI don't hate the campaign as much as you do, but I do think act 1 is not well done at all, difficulty wise. I started a plant druid, played by the book, added the correct support gems, got some ok gear, but I still had to use my staff fireball to do any damage at all, otherwise it's just a snoozefest or I die because my life flask is empty.
