My first tablet dropped an isolation from one of the gold mirror minibosses so I'm clinging to the idea that I'm going to get a contempt next. Playing a djinn sorc with 12k ES so there's no real difficulty anywhere. At this point I don't even bother to look at the affixes that roll on my maps. Just need more dps now, and all I have left are the really expensive upgrades.

I believe temple level is based on the lowest level crystal you gathered during those 6 crystals.

I'm also totally OCD, I can't move on a map until it's totally uncovered even though I know I got all that was in the map.

I can't wait to reach the new endgame, usually reach mapping, do a few maps and quit. I prefer the journey to the destination in these games, my fun is slowing seeing my build come together. But this new endgame seems like something I might enjoy.

i like the new end game. its got quests and shit. numbers to make go up.

New map/endgame is waaaaaaay better. They just need to adjust how many quests/maps certain things take. There are also still issues with sustaining/obtaining higher tier way stones.

I had that issue until I got the way stone points on the atlas tree. Once I got those I started to sustain. Now that I'm running juiced 15/16 with 3/4 tablets I have extras.

Maybe 10 maps for me to get to the ritual area.

It’s like they went in the polar opposite extreme from the previous aimless endgame. Now There’s too much to do. Kind of makes it a mixed bag for me. I’m having fun but I’m used to say , in poe1, completing atlas and getting all my waystones then taking a pause to fuck around switch builds try some memes etc, and if something overpowered happens go do t17s/ubers. In this game to get to the same sense of ‘completion’ there is so much goddamn shit, just to get all the atlas points is over 3x the maps, and then the separate trees take forever too, most of them i haven’t even started. Oh and the atlas masters too I’ve barely started .

You kind of have to pick a random point to just try different builds, unless you’re one of those psychos that can play the same thing the whole league

Oh and the shortcut for atlas completion isn’t really worth it imo. It’s like 6 div per arbiter and you need to do it 5 times- 30 div and that’s assuming you don’t blow some on wipes, which for me is a huge assumption. I wish there was a way to go back and practice the quest one

i thought the initial courtyard on the fotress was just too big. having to walk across it both ways. then each sub-courtyard is shaped like a horseshoe to maximize how long you spend in each. it makes the central tower bonus points less impactful cus i had to traipse all over creation to get there.

My kingsmarch and jado's jade island quest were WAY far away. like i had to walk through the corruption, through the vaal palace area, and partway through the ritual area to get TO kingsmarch. kind of absurd.

what's even more absurd (for me) is that i'm doing the beastmaster super zoo. i got as much spirt and as many manions as i can. i be fighting with the scorpian lady thing, a boar, a gnat, a crab, another boar. a lizard in a helmet, a pack of wolves, a shapeshifting ghost of nature....another bigger spirit wolf. and i think i have some kind of giant skeeter.

anyway i got my jado points, i got a stack of those tablets that make uniques in maps have +traits so i can try to tame a superboss. and there is literally just a single map on my thing that is either mesa, or arid grassland, which is where the you get the scorpian boss. all that space. all them deserts and other shit. and i don't have shit for options.

is there a way to use a waystone to change a biome? or some way to force them into existance?

similarlly i been saving my jewel quality currency for when i find non-boss minions of 4 traits and a good aura and i've got 0 minions of that sort so far. i have some classic campaign 2 traiters with auras. and some four traiters i'm using to pad out the muster numbers, but i cannot find an untainted paradise to save my life. and my minion swarm ices even T15+ rares before i can look at them. if i SEE an animal coming with an aura. i use the hotkey to freeze the screen (the market button. mouse over it. if it is a minion i want, i some times have to change-weapon to unsummon (the ones i can) and sprint away so it doesn't die yet.

its rough out there yall. a brother can't find ideal maps despite traveling so far.

Got up this morning killed the Patriarch dude and then the Arbiter dude, first time kills for me for either one, and ended up with 55 atlas points. Tree feels a lot better, got most of the good shit and dont really feel pressure to hurry up and finish the rest. I need to get some better gear anyway before I have fully juiced maps full of wisps and rogue exiles buttfucking me in the middle of a ritual or abyss. But it is nice to still have something to work on and progress when I'm ready. Heading to Kingsmarch next.

Yeah, once you kill arbiter it feels like the rest of the nodes are like 'plus one percent more effectiveness in swamps'

And some of them I think don't even work right. I have like +300% surpassing chance for summoning circles and sometimes i only get one, or 1 circle + 1 rune.

Speaking of which, what do you guys think is better to lean into between wisps, rogue exiles, summoning circles, strongboxes, essences and shrines? Because of the multi-choice nodes you still have to make a decision which to spec into.

I've been doing summoning circles and wisps but the summoned bosses drop jack shit for loot, they don't even drop waystones which seems like a bug. I think I got 2-3 fracturing orbs out of a couple hundred maps and zero pinnacle fragments. Wisps are pretty decent though, I've gotten one fox idol and a few rabbit idols.

They all pretty much suck ass, but essences are probably the best for consistency and crafting on good bases.

i did summoning circle for fast beat down / xp hits. I did essence for perusing beast mods easily.

I've gotten weirdly lucky with strongboxes and essence despite not having any points invested into them.

I went hard into everything that can enhance rares and bosses, partially to seek out rare and unusual beast combos for beastmastering. but partially for 'easy' xp.

I went shrines. By the time you get real drops, you have tons of nodes anyways and the shrines will help you map faster.

Anyone know wtf is going on here?


I want to path up the right side to unlock simulacrum splinters but it's the only node I can't click. Tried spending a point on one of the others since I'd still have 3 remaining to go where I want to, but no change. 'You though you were free?' is still locked. Switched from controller to m/k in case it was like the passive tree bug, but that didn't fix anything either.
