Yeah i have no clue but the venom crypts did say I unlocked unique runes or some shit last night. If it happens again I'll capture a quick clip. It works most of the time but certain maps have 2 or 3 altars that just will not activate......I've even tried choosing every reward available and nothing. *shrug*.

Those are expeditions. You have to place the bombs then detonate before they will activate. There are no maps with more than a single rune altar, if there is more than one, its 100% an expedition.

When I did the expedition questline in maps, I unlocked additional recipes, but I also hadn't seen a remnant where I couldn't use it so not sure if it was just the unique upgrade thing for higher tier items or what. But there is some additional recipes other than the questlines in act 1-4, if you do expedition maps(the one with a massive island and 20 charges to blow up stuff), you can open up side areas with the explosions and one of them is like catacombs and you can get additional recipes there with a useable green drop.
Do make sure you've finished the questline in each act though, simply go somewhere in the act and you should see your active quests and see if any of them mentions runes stuff.

I got the 3 perfect regals yesterday! I've noticed in getting more of the 5+ runes and less of the 3 or 4 since the last patch in 15/16s.
I saw a clip of a streamer getting one shot in a Mirror runestone from full to zero with 12k energy shield on Abyssal Lich. I heard of a tale of one person taking 30 minutes to complete a Mirror one so I'm not built for any of that anyways!

I've gotten a couple 9 runes and a 10 rune. the 10 rune was an aldur's saga, which fetched 22d at the time.
The 9 runes were a couple annuls mostly but i did get a 10x divine from one.

i haven't seen a big enough rune combo, to get the final challange credit yet. I figured i had to start expedition to see that.
and i've done....most of the challanges, run tier 15 maps like a machine did all the quests except for.....ritual...abyss and expedition. like 240 atlas passives. so that's why i thought i needed to do expedition to get them? is that right?

Yeah I got a single 3x annul one and that was it.....was rough but managed to do it.

Ive gotten the annuls, ive gotten the 3x div twice. And when I was doing expedition I found the quest shit a few times, that was a 8 or a 9. some of those 8 or 9s are pretty rough. But most maps are still the 3 or 4s. some expedition on normal maps have some 5s and 6s. But most just end up shitty runes or crafting runes that no one wants.

Anyone know how people trigger Living Lightning from Repulsion without linking Lightning Attunement or having lightning dmg on attack on ring/gloves/whatever? I see it on a bunch of poe.ninja builds but I can't figure out how it works--if I remove the Attunement support I don't get the LLs at all anymore.
Time to upgrade that leveling filter to uberstrict.

You can get lightning as extra damage from all sorts of sources. There's even a 6% one that USED to have immune to shock ground right around the Witch area. That's all you need.
Edit: 6% PASSIVE, sorry I'm big dumb. There's a 6% extra as lightning passive just above the Witch starting area.
