100+ boss fights later and I got one.......annointed my helmet and gained 20k dps, then immediately wished I would have sold it, lol.

Pretty much done with the league anyway…just have 2 or 3 whirlwinds to uncover to try and land a Rakiatas, then I think I'll wait until at least 1.0 to pick it up again. (Or 2.0 when swords finally release!)

The Raven sells for like 90 div. If your plan was to sell you could have farmed the 90 div easier than getting one!

Pretty much done with the league. Wrapped up all the challenges and ended up at level 97. I've never hit 100 in PoE 2 so I'm tempted to push for it, but EXP is coming in slow as balls. Anybody know the best method to level? So far, I've just been running juiced Abyss maps with as much effectiveness as I can + Enlightening shrine stuff.

Run T16 expedition maps that have the +200% monster experience markers you can pop

Pretty good...

I'll hold onto that for you when D4 starts

If you're actually gonna use it instead of try to sell it, I can give it to ya (probably this weekend, I want to make sure I don't fizzle on d4 in just 1-2 days of playing since I did go pretty hard last season on it before this poe 2 season).

I've been doing 200% delirium t15/16 with Doryani irradiated and 3-4 tablets aiming towards monster effectiveness. At 97 averaging about 19 million exp an hour according to the exp bar. I've found the Delirium to be more consistent for exp.

You're just running full delirium tablets as well? And then 4 tablets when you find a city map?

Hmm it's tempting but half the fun is making your own items. Just don't delete it is all I'm saying lol. I'd have to redo my resists but considering boots and helm need an upgrade it shouldn't be too hard.

Side note, what do you guys think the ceiling of the content is? Fully juiced expedition?

Nah, usually 2 breach, 1 temple. Stuff that is fast but also sells.

Edit: Just went and ran two maps at 200% Delerium at T15 (I don't have any 16's)

Well, I hit level 98, but I just don't have the stomach to grind the rest of the way. Getting 1% (or less) EXP per fully juiced map is miserable. They really need to add more ways to level efficiently besides praying for Untainted Paradise maps to pop up.

Overall, this has been a fantastic league. PoE 2 is finally in a genuinely good spot, and for the first time I'm actually looking forward to 1.0. That said, there are still a couple of major issues that need attention.

1. Map layouts are still terrible.

Where are the Mesa-style maps? Dunes? Strand? City Square? Cemetery? Right now it feels like your choices are basically grass or desert biomes, and both are still packed with walls, elevation changes, dead ends, and awkward layouts. PoE 1 has much stronger map variety. If you prefer open layouts, you have options across almost every biome. In PoE 2, "open" maps are extremely limited.

2. We need better control over league mechanics.

I know GGG has said they don't want blocking to work the same way it does in PoE 1, but the current system is frustrating. Running dual league mechanics at once feels awful because you're forced to use three tablets just to get reasonable consistency, and even then your maps are still cluttered with random mechanics you don't care about.

If the philosophy is "play the content you enjoy," then let us actually do that. Give us a way to block mechanics we don't want and shift that value into the mechanics we do. Right now, that level of player agency is one of the biggest things PoE 2 is missing.

I think end game is fine. It will get added to over time. Buffed, nerfed...whatever. I think it's in a good spot, or good enough for 1.0. What i want them to do is balance, balance, balance. Fix the shit ascendance that are sub par to the ones they just added. Add life to tree. Life builds are shit compared to es and some classes just don't have easy access to the es shit on tree.

Fix the fucking campaign so it's not a 10-20 hr slog. Especially for 2nd and 3rd rolls per season. I love my alts and twinking them out and trying different builds. But fuck, that campaign is shit and just takes way too fucking long. Layouts are all mazes and just shit in general. I liked in poe1 how you knew the direction to go in and you just did it. In this game you are backtracking, sometimes several times because the shit is just too random and too big.

Skill balance is a must and adding in those missing skills/weapons. Some skills are just shit and need to be completely reworked to feel good.

100% agree with all of this.

Life especially. I think the one advantage that life gets is you can scale the regen better, but imo it should also give a phys dr or something else. Not even sure if the life regen advantage is even worth as I haven't really played that type of build.

I just laugh to myself as I stand still in rituals with 9k ES and 70% evade as nothing hits me and most stuff that does I just immune it anyway.

Maps are total dogshit. I find myself looking at the minimap more than my character when I get in one of those those shitass maps with tiny bottlenecks all over the place. With all the shit popping off on screen and 20+ mobs on top of you it's impossible to find your way out of a bad spot sometimes.

Since we're dog piling does anyone feel the visual clarity in this is even worse (if that's even possible). Mobs routinely blend into the terrain. 99.99% of my deaths past 93 have been to sprinting and dying to some random dipshit pack that's completely blended into the background.

This issue is exacerbated even more in grand exp when dipshits run away and you gotta go sprinting after them fast so you don't lose your HH buffs. Died this way twice in a grand expedition in which I was using top tablets on an aldurs saga. Lost a lot of money on that rotation...
