Temple is pretty easy to get money out of. You make a long hallway in the center and put stuff off the hallway. You don't do snake anymore, you do Atziri runs. Fast and super profitable. The chest piece is like a 1 in 10 drop or something like that and was selling for a good amount (just checked, looks like it's down to 4 divine). You get usually 3-4 raw divine and 1-2 of the high selling crafting pieces out of it. Takes 5 minutes max (because it's 2 runs one for the unlock room and one for her).

I made the most steady cash off of ritual I think. The chaotic ones are super consistent and you would hit a whittling like every other grouping. Abyss has some good hits off of lights. Breach has been totally fine but now that the catalysts aren't selling as well I had to switch to raw currency and it's been meh.

I made a metric fuck ton doing Abyss with deli, racing around to Rakiata/Garu/Boss fragments throwing out deli on city areas and getting free simulacrums (that I didn’t run) I had a headhunter on like day 3. Once my map was just filled with free deli, I replaced the deli maps with ritual maps, If I had a free overrun with free deli I would add breach with ritual, only using maps and tablets I made myself and would sell any big ticket tablet i crafted.

In the early stages you are weak but you can prepare the map for when you get stronger and still make good money because Abyss is super fucking cheap to run and you don’t have to be strong, except for being strong in your pull out game. I really like how they give you all this free shit for doing shit you normally do and if you play it right it helps you juice the fuck out of things while not spending money.

The only down side is the fucking tablets, not getting them, swapping them and inspecting them when going from one map to the next. The content creators are right, the worst thing in the game right now is tablets, scarabs are superior, I’d add get rid of 4 tablet city biome.

Failed my gamble. Put a voices and like 200div in bank tho probably gone by now. At some point will toss my mageblood in there too. Have a few hundred div of currency left to dissolve so might do another gamble today and dump my mageblood as well.

Yeah, I ran like 300 rituals and no MB or HH. I bought mine with the Divs from sein g all the chaotic ritual stuff ;)

It's going down now but the tablet reroll currency was going for a shit ton at one point.

Next season I honestly need to remember to just convert anything I don't need to chaos. They always end up going way up in value the further it goes.

Had an expedition with 2 aldurs sagas and a legacy/boon since it was all remnants are at least 7 runes with an additional +2 remants. Went for the passive boon since I don't need the cash, but my cheeks were clenching since it has the bugged oath rune. Luckily I didn't get hosed and none of the mobs bugged out, but I did die once to an invisible mana drain. They need to fix that shit after they fix the oath rune. Luckily I stopped using fully rolled maps since I'm speed running remnants instead of juicing them so I had revives.

I got to work my way down to King's March or whatever.

I think I was just doing it more because it was close to where the starting area is once you start venturing outside of the fortress. Well that and it's close to you the abyss quest line which I haven't done. My thought was two birds with one stone type deal. I just want to get to the big ziggurat and unlock whatever it's supposed to do.

In the handful of the temple things I've done I haven't cared for it because I keep getting random dumbass rolls or where the rooms just don't work.

Coming from somebody who isn't really play the game prior to this season, that stuff needs a lot of tweaking.
If you don't know what you are doing, that seems to be the order of the day in almost everything. I have learned (and seem to keep learning) so much this league about POE/POE2.

I'm kind of burnt out on the league. But I'll second that - I played longer than I normally would and I learned way more this league than I did any other league I've tried. I think its a testament to how much better this league is than others.

I'd like to see them bring a lot of the early parts of the end game into the campaign a bit more. Like, you should be up to your first boss at or around the very last campaign map for the Abyss. Having all of those branches of progression already baking by the time you hit maps would be a much smoother progression in my opinion and probably keep me going even longer. Not only because the carrot on the stick for completing them - but the increased probability that I will find something nice to propel my non-BIS character that much further in maps. (As I dont really like playing the most powerful build everrrrr type of champ.)

Would also like to see a much better way to transition waystone levels in mapping too. I floundered around Waystone Tier 8 wayyyy too long just because I couldnt get any to drop - even though I was maxxing out rarity on them, etc. And - I couldnt force it to the next tier because I forced 8 from 7. I could have just bought them, sure - but .. maybe thats just a personal preference that I dont care for that avenue.

Map sustain before you fill out your tree is such a stupid mechanic and should be baseline that a map of even level is guaranteed to drop.

They need to cut the progression time for all the mechanics in half or have the stuff you do in campaign count towards it or something.

It sucks to need to fill out the tree but then have all of these quests where you get no end game progression at all. The end game is now seemingly the opposite of what it was before: Too much to do/too many tasks to do, rather than endless mapping/atlas nothing. Don't get me wrong, its a huge improvement over previous leagues, the few I have done, and I am a big fan of the narrative direction that is shaping up with the story, but either shorten the quests a bit to unlock Jado's etc or make them more meaningful. I guess that people are still playing months after the league launch says something.

I'll probably log back in when we get home from vacation and play a bit. I'm looking forward to the THC league in a couple weeks. Still undecided what to play. Shield Wall Smith and Minion DoV are both highly recommended for Hard Core. The league is small so while it's not SSF you also are buying Mageblood day 2. Makes me think something like Monkey might be cool. Permafrost Witchhunter might also be good then look to gear and change to Gemling.

Anyone here so Hardcore or mostly SSF that has advice?

I'm really enjoying the fact that the there's still lots of questing at end game. Mind you this is the first time I've played the game, but I keep reaching some sort of pinnacle boss for a quest line for the first time and it's just a lot of fun. Did the Bodach last night, and that was a blast. Pretty epic feeling fight.

I hope they kind of expand those mechanic quest lines even more with the release of the game or additional seasons or something.

Did work my way down to King's March earlier and gonna give some expeditions a whirl.

I can see that where all of it can be a little overwhelming, and it's been that way a bit with me, but at least there's something to keep working towards.

The quests are cool. They need to give you all the points for the tree from the quests, not give you 8 and make you run another 12 maps or whatever of that mechanic to finish it.

I think they just need to travel a bit more streamlined as well as be able to deterministically get biomes you want. Also streamline the campaign more. Also Tom Tom arrow for objectives. Running in circles and hitting dead ends feels awful, this isn't an exploration game. It's even worse how bad 90% of the layouts are in this one.

So far so good with the new nvidia drivers, FYI they're a hotfix release not a regular release so you need to download them manually, they won't show up as a regular update.
