First time playing monk. I'm leveling up. Dude legit says 'Back to the Soy'. It's supposed to say 'Back to the Soil ' but yes definitely sending people back to the soy.

Wait till you do the monastery quest stuff with breach. It's cool as hell as a monk.

Interlude is the most painful part of the campaign. At that point, all the way through, it is like "GOD MAKE IT END ALREADY".

I am up to T11 maps after finally getting through the slog late Thursday night. I switched back to Monkey, not sure if I already said that - plants were not working out for the Ritual stuff. Just tracking to the second gate piece in the main story line, fleshing out the main Atlas tree.

I gotta say, the Atlas in PoE2 is way better than PoE1, but as someone already recently stated, it is a bit of a Too Much To Do scenario.

I enjoyed the balrog warrior but the end game scaling felt really bad. In a tad under leveled but at the twins at the end of the interlude and it feels fucking awful. I don't think I ever had an issue with them before.

I just got to the story Arbiter fight and this is where the cement shoes-feeling movement of PoE2 really pisses me off lol. It's kinda like Maven - don't panic. But I failed 5 times, mostly in the flame hallway stage. And then when I made it the farthest a lag spike killed me so I was out for a break before fist met monitor or keyboard.

Edit - Got a couple levels and up to T14 maps...and a level 19 Monkey now and Arbiter eats the dirt. Dropped a Perfect Jewellers and this poop:

If they want to have technicals fights like that, they need to fix the stutter steps when releasing sprint and server sync issues. I'm on fiber and had a death on that fight from server sync. It's so stupid.

Got to maps finally. Level 65 ATM and got 3 Divs so far. Checked the exchange and damn Exalts are not worth shit are they lol.

8 Chaos to 1 Divine? Crazy.

The economy is weird in 0.55. I thought it would be super expensive to get the uniques for the Monkey build, but it cost less than a divine for decent versions of the two weapons and I splurged a divine for the chest piece. I would have shopped sooner if I knew they were so cheap.

That's pretty much where it settled last league. The no lifers get to last leagues stuff really quickly. The rituals have overall dropped the cost of all uniques except the Mageblood/HH. I think those will drop over the next week to super low levels. Rite of Passage is at like historic lows based on some of the changes in this patch.

Man, Monkey build = best scrub build. Easiest Arbiter fights (Divinity one shot), even the Bodach went down easy. I didn't have the patience to do the Bodach with my Monk in 0.5; melee range mechanics were ridiculous.

Being able to just avoid mechanics while your pets kill the mob is great.

I think if I have learned anything from 0.5 and 0.55 it is that I will no longer play anything that doesn't deal damage from range. Even if they nerf the summoner build next league I will probably league start it.

Edit - and + to skill is king in this game (along with crit). I think I am +5 or +6 total at the moment.

I too am super casual, only up to T11 maps so far and it's face roll easy with Varashta using random ES gear I bought off the market for 1c per item.
The ability to never stop moving and kill everything quickly from range makes the game kind of trivial, for now anyway. Might be in for a world of pain if I ever make it to endgame stuff.

So is combining 3 x T15 maps the only way to get a T16 map? I have about 100 x T15 maps and have been running them for 2 weeks now so I just assume there is no native drop rate for T16s?

Using a vaal orb has a chance to make a T15 a T16/T14. Without looking at the numbers off the top of my head and anecdotal evidence its about a 1/8 for T16
