The website Path of Exile 2 has some info that I think wasn't in the stream I think, although I only quickly watched stuff. Specifically I was interested in the classes reworks, Merc can now reload ammo constantly when not equipped so you can swap ammo instead of reloading, Chayula gets a permanent(?) clone, Infernalist gets the pre early access teased demon that can cast spells you equip on it(moving spell totem) and 3 of the hounds and a sacrifice mechanic and Bloodmage gets new skills, including one that turns enemies into minions(budget dom blow?)
New league mechanic looks kinda dogshit to me but we'll see how it goes, it feels like Betrayal level of annoyance to run though. Hopefully it's simpler than it looks, I'm not looking for super deep mechanics when I want to do a league mech, I just want more loot.
Shadow looks cool, don't care for traps and shit and never did, but I think poison daggers and shadow clones sounds right up to my alley so I'll see what they do with Assassin and might roll that, otherwise it looks likely it'll be summoner Infernalist.
Everything looks slow, because no ascendancies and gear and only 2 support gems. It’s kind of par for the course they rarely show anything with any real amount of power.
I am.... whelmed. It was pretty much what I expected. The new acts of course, 2 new classes instead of the 4 hopium that was going around, a fair number of balance changes and improvements, and a pretty solid and expansive league mechanic.
Both duelist and shadow seem really combo heavy, even for just white packs.
