Essentially it spawns two copies of you when you attack, visually like charged dash.
Static strike works very well. 3 stacks.

A helmet without the rest of its set seems like something designed to get people to spend money on the other three pieces (net savings being like 10 coins less than buying the full set) rather than a prize... pass. It'd be different if it was weapon effects/portals/footprints/pets/etc. At least when Warframe did the beta test of Twitch Drops they gave away a bunch of stuff that was actually of decent value by themselves, and you could watch streams until you got everything if you wanted.

Can anyone think of a build that can compete with Ngamahu Cyclone/Molten Strike in terms of both dps (say, at least around 50M Shaper) and cost (just one 6L, dirt cheap 6S weapon, etc.)? It also wasn't even remotely glass cannon in either version (Zerk for bosses, Slayer for everything else; both used the exact same gear set), but I realize that VP is very likely gutted now. I've pretty much decided on a uberlab farmer cleave build to start the league with, but I need to already have something in mind to shoot for after that.

Don't forget Xoph's Blood, that's essentially another 6L. And if you're going to use that 50M shaper dps number, that's with super high end gear. Do all the balls hit shaper?

I would say the only builds that could compete would be based on Barrage or Molten Strike. Wait and see how some of the gear shakes out. Some of the shaper/elder items seem to allow for a ton of build flexibility with skills supported by 2-3 gems.

I don't think 100% of them hit him, but I had it calculated at something like 63M dps if all did hit so I felt like 50M was a fair estimate. I don't even think the game engine tries to draw the vast majority of them when you're putting out 140+ a second so it's hard to tell.

That's true about Xoph's, but it seems like it starts out fairly reasonable and climbs to the price of a good 6L over time, whereas a good popular 6L is ungodly expensive right out the gate unless you link it up yourself and are extremely lucky. I... am not lucky.

I have always wanted to play Barrage but the cost of the enchant keeps me from doing so. I bought a ~perfect Starkonja with +3 balls for like 250c; +2 Barrage on a good helmet can cost like 10x that. The total value of all my gear was something like 3000c (when ex was worth about 35c), and there was basically nothing to upgrade besides my gloves and really absurd shit like getting corrupted versions of stuff that is $$$$ to begin with, or a HH.

I am hovering over support gems in my 6L breast plate. I see certain skill gems light up. I am assuming the support gem, supports that skill gem. If it does not light up. It's not supported. Couple questions based off this logic.

As an example, I have a "trigger when hit" gem in the breast plate. I have an "animate weapon" skill gem in the same BP, that lights up when I hover over the support gem "trigger when hit". I get hit. Animate weapon does not cast. Am i missing something?

Are "spell" gems effected by "trigger when hit" gems? I want lets say my totems to drop when hit, but none of my totems seem to be supported by that gem type. Generally speaking can I get spells to be cast off gems?

I think when you hover over a gem, the sockets it can be put into light up. I'm not 100% sure on that since I'm somewhat colorblind. I keep a blue, green, red handy to double check it.

So hover over a red gem and the red sockets light up some.

Best way to tell is hover over the skill in the skill hotkey list, it will say if that support gem is helping if it is listed. Take it out and put it in and see if there is a difference.

Yeah a lot of stuff from the description you would think would work with whatever gem, but doesn't if you try it. It will level the gem just being in a socket but isn't adding anything to the gem itself.

Logged in and looked, it does highlight the skill it supports. It highlights one it can be put into if it's inentory.

The one being supported will highlight those linked with it that are supporting it as well. Never noticed.

it was changed to this a few patches ago. no more then 2 leagues.

Looking at the list of achievements, do maps with 8 mods, the only one I got was tier 14. Odd. I thnk that is an error.

It has some funny interactions with a couple of the unique maps. I dont remember the one for t14 but if I had to guess id say Obas Cursed Trove.

Maybe, cause pretty sure if it wasn't a unique I got with 8 mods I would scoured it and rerolled it. Unless it was tier 8 and below maybe. But none of those were checked so maybe I did lol.

Maps with 8 mods are results of Vaal Orbs, you cant scour them. Some mods have 2+ lines but they still only count as 1 mod.
