Poor guy. Rich enough to not work another day in his life, but not Gabe Newell multiple yacht rich. What an uncanny valley to be in. Think he misses the limelight and wants to stay engaged with nerds somehow

I'd be really curious to know Chris's genuine position on making PoE2 in to it's own standalone title and fucking PoE1 in the dick hole to get there. The entirety of last year was one missed deadline after another to conclude with "oops, see you in July."

He was at ExileCon 2023 when they announced the formal split of the two games. It can be argued how much he was already out the door, but it's not nothing.

I've gone back and watched some clips. Chris and Jonathan come across like they've got things by the ass. Then Chris stops doing league introductions and Jonathan in fact does not have things by the ass.

Why I said a while back that Jonathon may be the best person for the job getting things designed and produced I don't know. I do know they should have found someone else to be the face of the company for PR and annoucements.

Hopefully they can refine it into a first class system and not the second class treatment things like Sentinel and Wildwood have gotten. I didn't really enjoy playing aura bot for my merc(essentially still a minion), but I like that type of build can exist.
