I remain concerned that async trade will let the crews leverage their vast wealth more easily to the detriment of the economy but after trying to conduct a lot of transactions last league I'm willing to take a shot.
I mean they already do that though, with people sitting in HO the entire league just spamming trades, or with people running actual trading bots already on the side and shit. You can't really design a system where someone isn't going to exploit it regardless, so might as well make it less annoying for people who interact with it normally imo.

I only played PoE2 a little bit but I quite liked it from a casual experience perspective. I wanted to find a helm with some minion levels and I could just open the market ingame, click a few things, see how much it cost, click buy, and boom I had the item, felt great. No having to find the guy who wasn't afk or who was willing to exit his 10div map rotation to sell me a 3 alt low level item that they likely listed a week ago and didn't bother removing kind of shit.

My specific concern is that they amount of wealth generated by coordinated team play combined with async trade will allow people to engage in predatory behaviors that were previously kept at bay through the inherent friction in the existing system. PoE1 has items that are rare but whose price can vary wildly from league to league depending on demand. At a price of 1d for a "bad" Forbidden Flame or Forbidden Flesh why not just by all of them? You're one content creator away from making sacks of cash.

I had a bad enough time last league trying to buy several items for multiple characters that I'm on board. I'm just not super excited about it.

It's a good change but it was nice having a profitable mechanic with it's own built-in gatekeeping.

Heist change was overdue. Still don't know how much it will push the average player to run it, but will help immensely for SSFers.

I wouldn't be shocked to see a Delve update in the same vein. Delve's actually pretty nice once you have the required darkness resistances, torches, etc.

Confirming blueprints is way.... way worse than leveling the rogues ever was.

I think part of the allure for my gaming personality was the character leveling and equipping. After it is all maxxed I never returned until the stash was full of maps. I guess I am just weird that way, I know some people do specific mechanics for cashflow or alternative endgame.

Full passive/atlas tree refund with one click. And if you look closer, Faustus has a "Manage Shop" option.

Small changes that are a little bigger if you're SSF. It's cute that they use these little reveals to sneak in information. Trade confirmed, Beyond nodes gone, Breach nodes gone/different, etc.

So...what point do wisdom scrolls play anymore?

What's left on Chris' friction and/or "don't have the tech" list? What happens if Chris was right? People burnout faster?

After doing that SSF hardcore bonus difficulty event a few months ago it really, really stood out how few wisdom scrolls you get in relation to the amount of magic or higher rarity items that drop.

I get the desire for friction, for items to occupy space and have a kind of weight to them as you handle them in your inventory. This is also a long-running ARPG where wrist health is a real thing. I consider it borderline irresponsible to bake in to your game the need to click far more than is necessary and then just refuse to change things. The Stacked Deck change is another +wrist buff.

"There was a bunch of cool stuff added and interesting changes this league and I had a few builds i wanted to try but not having to pickup wisdom scrolls to identify items kinda soured me on the whole experience. I mean... like... what even is the point? Humans are known for hating convenience. Its why FiresOfHeaven.org is still a premier gaming website and pretty much everyone loves video games where you cant see shit at night and there is no map so you have no idea where the fuck you are. I typed this response on my handheld miniature computer flashlight gps"

I'm not advocating for wisdom scrolls or any friction in particular. I'm just not sure what it looks like if wisdom scrolls were the right choice. Thus, I'd like to be on the lookout for that, whatever that might be.

I think an "identify all" with a wisdom equipment slot built in with 9999 capacity would've been the best option overall. Not surprised if we get there in a league or two.

All items should be 1x1, mass ID and auto sort. Inventory management is the worst thing about arpgs. TL:I did this right.
