Really gotta see the gem numbers. My concern is that you'll need to scale spell damage and attack damage but they won't give the boosted link because it's not a wand attack that does damage immediately.

Well maybe, but wand skills famously scale off of spell damage and I'm anticipating that's the case with that skill. But yea, we need to see the gem.

Seems generally decent, but not something everyone will want. Really good in hardcore/gauntlets for bossing though.

On the other hand if you can still synthesize and then mirror synaptic rings i foresee Esh of the storm is gonna be crazy for high budget int stackers.
And if you're that high budget you can probably get purity of fire sublime vision too and then otherwordly appendages is even better.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go RF Elementalist for super fast leveling to spin into some sort of faggy ass wander elementalist, since this is going to be Wand League. I want to try Kinetic Rain, but I'll probably swap to something else if it sucks.

I'm staying away from wands since I did those a couple leagues ago and it's gonna be way overpopulated this league.

Been on a minions-but-not-minions kick last league with BAMA, so this league gonna try Holy Relic of Conviction necro into maybe chains of command/voidforge at the high end if I last that long.

Think in terms of builds I'd say #1 popular is wander then #2 is going to be holy relic. Holy relic is incredibly solid and the 20% cooldown for early level helps meet the 3rd CD requirement easily. The big streamers won't really talk about it because it's "minions", but that build is 100% going to be hugely played and rightly so. The changes to Command of the Pit also makes it so you don't need to be a Necro, but Necro still probably most comfy.

I really wanted to do BF/BB Chieftain, but managing dex early and casting as a marauder is dogshit. That and the playstyle can be a bit slow without good bladefall of trarthus volley speed and cast time. I'm just going to be the only guy playing Skeleton Mages again because the I haven't played it since the AG QoL and the new specter resummoning stuff should be really nice too.

Somatic Shell is my pick for sleeper OP but I'm not sure anything is going to be sleeper OP enough to eclipse Kinetic "we seriously buffed this skill before launch" Blast of Clustering.

edit - reminder that last league Frost Blades got nerfed. Frost Blades.

Holy relic will never be a popular build because it simply sucks ass to play and isn't satisfying.

By the raw numbers it's been one of the best builds for many, many leagues, and never hits meta share

Logging into wintertide brand elementalist and take it from there I think. Played with it on a standard character for a bit and it should be fine for red mapping.

The base skill or the trans gem? You spray lancing steel almost wherever and both skills auto target. What's been holding it back is that the only streamer promoting it has been only playing poison, which puts you at a disadvantage for feels good clearing.

Would the trans version be good with mines? The issue with a rain style skills is that the zero life span mines and traps fire it on top of themselves instead of enemies. I was pretty salty when they "bug fixed" this for toxic rain mines.

Skill like hexblast get around this because it has an auto targeting component. Like kinetic rain has. And kinetic rain says where the initial targeting are must be.

Idk, might be nice to have a reason to play mines since they murdered hexblast.
