Skill like hexblast get around this because it has an auto targeting component. Like kinetic rain has. And kinetic rain says where the initial targeting are must be.

Idk, might be nice to have a reason to play mines since they murdered hexblast.

The relics also behave weird and lag behind you constantly if you move at all fast. Their AE is not that large.

Too many weird abstraction layers causing delays between you doing stuff and the relics activating + being in range to kill stuff.

And yea poison compounds it to be even worse.

Sigh, Somatic Shell coulda been so cool. 6 shells maximum kills it.

When you have skills like Kinetic Blast, Tornado Shot, etc but then put a hard limit on something like Somatic Shell I just have to wonder.... why?

Actually you know what? I figured it out.

A PoE2 dev designed that skill and they accidentally put it in the wrong game.

Fair enough. I haven't put the build to a serious test to get a feel for how impactful them lagging behind is. Was this with meatshield?

People get too caught up in the latest buzz. Always best on league start to play something classic that will be cheap and not need much specific gear. Armageddon brand and cremation for me, that shit usually carries to yellow maps

You miss wasd while trying to hit flasks and skills? I like wasd well enough, but only if that's all I'm doing with that hand. Even just hitting the occasional flask in PoE2 is uncomfortable.

I have never played Slams, decided this league I am going to play Slams. Found this guide and coincidentally this guy is probably the best guide maker in PoE after watching several of his videos. He just says and shows what he needs to say and show for the video, that's it.



did a test run and beat and finished the campaign probably 2 full hours faster than I ever have before. Can recommend.

He also has this Atlas progression video and there are things in there that I did not know, like finishing maps up to 2 tiers higher ASAP

Definitely got raped by spiders trying to do the story breach in mud flats.

edit - this is way too much league mechanic to have to deal with in the first zero minutes of the game

Yea it’s definitely one of the ‘ignore till you have more power’ mechanics imo, which ggg usually does. There’s quite a bit to take in this league it’s gonna be a learning curve .

I haven't had any issues with the league mechanic at all this time around. Seems undertuned if anything to me weirdly
