That guy fucking sucks. He literally plays the game in the worst way possible and makes people think the game should be played that way. I hope he doesn't stream it.

Every retard company stacked their games in late fall/"early holiday" and they're all suffering for it. They've done this for probably 10 years now and at this point a scheduled game is just not going to be able to get around it. Do you release an end game revamp you promised a league ago? Do you release a nothing burger? No one's happy either way. Just stick to your guns and fuck it because the gaming business makes its own nightmares for itself with this stupid shit. Release a fucking game in January-March you braindead fucks. No one's rushing out December 15th to buy their kid a copy of PoE2, that's not how this shit works in the digital world.

It's a no win situation so they're just trying to adhere best to a schedule they've already had to push content out of to try and project sturdiness. I'd rather have regularly scheduled programming than 6-10 month leagues with interim nothing burger void leagues. But is that what he wants? A nothing burger league? What's his solution here? He doesn't have one, he's just likes to bitch.

None of these games are going anywhere. Play what you want when you want.

Stuff with economies like ARPG's you do generally want to get in earlier, but if you're SSF it doesn't matter. Shit like GTA6 is just FOMO shit, but it's a single player game so who really cares? On consoles only, nonetheless. I'm sure a ton of people will be playing but with a game like that you want to wait a week or two for them to fix the bugs a la Cyberpunk. WoW5ever is aiming for the casual crowd who probably can fit in mapping while their groupmates are putting their kids to bed before their 1 daily dungeon or whatever. A week after WoW release means that MOST people will still be casually leveling anyways.

Like I said, there is a problem but GGG can't do anything about it, it's the financial quarter bros with their stupid engorged launch window. Happens every year, we just happen to have actually good games this year. I mean I don't even think they have a REAL CoD launching Nov 7/8th like they have been the previous 15 years or so. They're not selling subs or boxes, just MTX so honestly as long as their art crew on GGG launches good supporter packs/mystery boxes they'll make their money even if the player pop isn't booming.
