Aside from moving release dates around potentially, part of Gunn's agreement was he can't do anything to Reeves Batman. That was expressly part of the deal. Reeves produces everything to do with it, not Gunn.
The Reevesverse is doing much better than the Gunnverse so far.

the entire season 2 felt like a shitty excuse to bring back a 2000s band edgy young Gunn liked a lot. Seriously what the fuck is with the show having such a boner for Foxy Shazam lol
waste of a TV show and 2 good characters, Eagly and Vigilante. Utter waste of a cool alt universe that went nowhere. I really thought the finale would be saved by Rick Flagg opening a door to Brainiac or someone like that to setup Gunn's version of Thanos. Instead its just a boring, seen it already prison planet bullshit.

Season 3 could be saved if they just lean into savage/primal peacemaker or whatever the comic nomenclature is for stoneage version of a character. Just him killing aliens and dinosaurs and shit working on how to get home.
Instead he will be rescued episode 2 with minimal time spent over there.

They haven't announced that there will even be a 3rd season yet, so nah, it was all a set up for some movie(s) Gunn has planed. I expect them to empty the three Arkham like places for meta-humans onto the planet in a No Escape type movie.

I put off watching the finale because everyone said it was so shit. My god they really saved the most boring episode for last, huh? Like, what the fuck even was that?
I also get that they're trying to tie this into some whole DC universe thing, but they probably shouldn't assume I know who or what any of this shit is. Like, I have no idea what a "meta human" is, but they just decided to throw that in randomly here at the end of this season like I watched some random shit movie that came out after the first season of this show.
