For your next trick, explain what was going on with Sean Farquhar's one ;p
I had that spoilered for me actually.

He uses three decks. One that is all of a specific card. He forces the card pick this way.
Then he switches decks to a standard deck with normal cards. This is what all the joker/bonus card shuffling is about.
Then has a box with a perfect deck order deck minus the forced card. This deck is pulled slightly out between where the card is going to be placed so it is easy so slide it in, and there is this small wedge thing, hard to explain, that he uses to slide the card in and reseal the bottom part of the packaging. The plastic actually has a fine line in it to let the card slide through and the wedge somehow seals the plastic behind it.

Obviously the whole thing involves incredible sleight of hand (that is what Penn means when he says he "saw a move he shouldn't have." He saw the deck switches, but could not figure out how he got the card back in the sealed pack).

He released the details to the trick in late 2012 and someone told me about it.

Only ever caught the latter deck switch and you can hear the plastic resealing at 2:49. Had no idea how he'd manage to slide in the 7 so accurately if it was an unforced random card, so if he's switching another deck at 2:27 ? that's some sleight!

Great news everybody! CW renewed the show for 13NEWepisodes!

More Ordered At CW | Deadline

After acquiring the original British series from DCD Rights to air this past summer, network has ordered 13 brand new one-hour episodes of Penn & Teller: Fool Us, which will go back into production next year. As in the previous season, the one-hour competition series features aspiring magicians trying to fool illusionists Penn Jillette and Teller. Those who do get to perform with the magic duo at their show in the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The live studio audience and the TV audience watch along with Penn & Teller as they try to figure out the stunts, seeing each trick performed just once. The show is created and produced by 117 Productions and September Films (part of DCD Media) for ITV, with executive producers Peter Adam Golden and Andrew Golder.
Can a mod please take the date out of the topic?

Ya that will be sweet. There should be plenty of American up-and-coming magicians out there to make sure there isn't too much background (filler) per episode.

Awesome. Any idea if it will be picked up in the US or if I will have to "borrow" it again via the interwebs cause they are in Europe?

The new season just started airing earlier this month. I'm just starting to watch them now.

From episode 2:

I need to fuck this redhead...

Shin Lim's slight-of-hand with the pen vanishing was superb, but you can tell when he got rid of it (his right hand goes down to below the table height). Still not sure if the pen is collapsible or not, because his motions were just that dexterous.

Even with frame by frame the pen he pulls out of his vest is almost instantaneous. Remarkable.

I like watching these on youtube. I just saw how romy and leon did it. He put the card down behind the chair when he reached for the hardhat.

Saw P&T on Broadway this weekend, i got the second row, fucking Teller's slight of hand is amazing. all the old tricks we've seen b4 at various times.
phone in fish
rabbit out of hat
tsa
1 min egg
saw the girl in half
cut cloth
coins sleight from water
reading ppls minds with jokes
old skool cool cigarette misdirection
barnyard closeup
disappearing elephant
boring ass fire swallow

even though i saw all these tricks over the years on tv, watching it up close was a different story.

Yeah, I had to research a lot of the moves he did in super slow motion. My verdict? What the actual fuck, no one is that good. Clearly a deal with the devil.

From episode 2:

Trick at 3:50 really bugged me (Turning the deck into one card), because he never moved his hands; thank god for Youtube slow mow hah. Realized the deck at 3:50 wasn't the deck, it is just a collapsible white box. He ditched the cards themselves in his jacked at 3:43, you can see the swipe as he's distracting with his other hand. The amazing thing is the swipe, even frame by frame, only takes 2 frames--that is just insane sleight of hand.

The part where he switches decks behind the table at 2:54 is the only part that bugs me.

You go on his youtube and he has a few 3minute tricks and a link to like a magician repository, i guess you can buy the secret to tricks for 10bucks. probably useful as a magician to find out how a trick works, then put your own spin on it i guess.
