sure. I mean, iirc she also says she wanted to leave town because of it, and she was suicidal. Both, making it about herself, more then her making amends. its about how SHE feels bad because she regrets it, not how she feels bad, because she hurt others. its about her feelings, not the damage she did. IIrc, she never actually even says sorry, or does do anything to to make amends. So, pretty shitty, even when regretting her actions. She still thinking about herself first here.
She simply turns to the power rangers as a force of good, larger/better then herself. (which was the overly hammered in point of the movie. teamwork over self)
If they made a sequel, this is definitely something that would be ideal to focus on.
