Last episode of season 2 sucked balls. Why would we care about Spear's daughter who he never met or trained? He was brutal and pragmatic which made him a great fit with Fang. The mom was shown as intelligent but also very hesitant to be as brutal as the world demanded. If it wants to be true to the series it would have to be the kid wanting to go back to where Spear is from, finding other neandertals, and learning how to live like they did. Anything else would just be like Meet the Croods 3 but with blood.
I just found this and started watching it. I absolutely loved the first season. Second season I didn't much care for and really not a fan of the ending. Haven't started season 3. Still have a bad taste in my mouth from the season 2 finale.
Season 3 is 6 episodes in, and it is entertaining. It remains to be seen if it fixes that abortion of a finale. The creator never came out and said it was a mistake, but he definitely knows it was a big one.
Season wrapped up. It was looking real grim there for awhile, and i'm not quite sure how he uhh ended up like he did at the end. But it wrapped around to the end of season 2 in a pretty sweet way. The arena fights were bloody and sometimes hilarious, and the sporadic freeze frames of pure Fantasy Novel cover art porn sprinkled through the episodes was fantastic. I let out a FUCK YA at the one in the last episode.
