Yeah i stopped at 39 to grind some AAs but I've almost no idea what I should be picking up beyond slay undead and it's crit prereq. Kinda funny that I got so excited over a 9k crit earlier.

So that's mostly what I do to pass time between respawns, just slowly browse through the AA list and try to figure out what's what.

I never liked Ranger because all his CDs are like 15 min. So, yeah once you pop the archery AAs youre rocking for like a min out of 15. If you go melee with ranger then I guess why if you have the monk which is better in every way melee wise.

I mean, play what you want and all that, im just telling you why I thought Ranger sucked as a bosser. I had a RNG/BRD/SK pretty decent gear, 2K AA not BIS or anything like that, just hand me downs. Anyway, took him to vex thal to see what he could do and he did OK for a bit then got owned. Could not keep himself alive with taps and just folded when CD was not up.

I did like the headshot stuff though. In DN the ratmen are all "humanoid" so he did well there one shotting everything.

Maybe it was just me? didnt know how to play the bow shit to its fullest? IDK. Maybe gear just sucked?

I think there were combos of Ranger and Cleric too, not sure the third class.

Well I did combat fury 3, Slay9, shield block/shield specialist 5 since that increases main hand 100% for pally. Got a war dps and monk dps AA too but I don't think you have them in your trio, I just want to make sure I get CA/CS8 before moving on from lguk so thats out of the way. 39 is honestly a little high for guk grinding, still works but not ideal.

For the monk/warr version, Janx pointed out a few that were huge boosts in DPS. Under class do way of steel 2/2 and Tactical mastery which is the strikethrough shit, I got that to 3/9. I mean that way of steel takes you punches and kicks from 100 to like 500 dmg per, of course depending on RNG. But a huge DPS boost.

Im doing or trying mostly SSF so dont have a shield yet so sticking to dual wield for now. Also that pally 1h really needs to be one of those pally only 1h which has the stupid DPS boost to outshine the dual wield. I remember that griegs end one that procced rune on you, lol. But there are many others pal or pal/sk one handers.

Been 3 manning bosses. Did emp ssra, and sleeper underleveled and it actually felt really fun. With personal loot it really promotes doing content with your friends even if things get a bit harder with 3+ chars in the group.

Can you solo them as long as you arent underleveled? Emp Ssra and I have unfinished business.

Oh yeah. Some form of remove curse is nice. If you can get greater curse removal while doing the other guy in there makes emp way easier.

I got maybe 150 before i just went to 56 / velious and DN. I stopped off in Veksar to get the levels/AA since its mostly undead in there.

I went there right after l guk and leveled to 50 within like a hour or two getting to the undead place.

Then I switched to AA and have been grinding them ever since. Getting ready to do the dragons.

I think that specific place goes up to 54 or 55? Most mobs there in that undead area are mostly even con to me or yellow or red at 50.

yeah i flew to 50 and the AAs are much faster than guk, although it would have been a slog without the AAs I already had. Probably get to ~200 AAs tomorrow and then take down Vox and Naggy.

I'm partying like it's 1999, unfortunately. If I was raiding, I'd be a cleric staring at the floor / wall to avoid the video stutter. It definitely has something to do with character models. If I'm in Crushbone and look anywhere but the tower, seems okay.. but as soon as I pan around the general direction of the tower it's a couple FPS at best. I can't run with new models, it's basically unplayable. If I issue #tim to reload the old ones it's a little better but still bad. Unrest is the same when looking at the mansion. Built a top of the line gaming pc 2.5 years ago (4090, etc) and my machine chews through everything except... classic EQ. I've turned off all the advanced lighting and shadows and all that and still slow. So frustrating. THJ ran flawlessly.

Set the FPS to 60 instead of unlimited.
