There is Proc inventory slots. It allows you to add a proc from a weapon in your bags to your current weapon. Bow procs suck compared to melee weapons.

Damn, I didnt' know about that. I didn't see any info on the discord about it but maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. THJ had an awesome database / website, does Triune have something similar for learning about this kinda stuff?

Down right now while they fix things. Honestly probably better than THJs. There was a vault bag or something you start with. Open that up and the last few tabs are procs/clicky slots.

Had Chatgpt roll me 3 random classes without regard for balance or anything, got Enchanter, Bard, SK, doing solo self found and early game is pretty slow. only 30 but kinda dreading the LGUK aa grind since I don't got gear other than some bronze and not sure how good Bard AOE will be when I can actually aoe grind.
I know later on the combo could be really good but right now it's pretty shit.
Also anyone else having trouble with pets? sometimes 1 of my pets just decides to say fuck it and ignore combat completely.

use #petcmd attack in a macro. #petcmd attack is SUPPOSED to send all pets in to attack but I found it kinda wonky so made a macro with
#petcmd attack mag
#petcmd attack bst
Can just type #petcmd to see all actions it can do.
Also
#tim to turn off the wierd new mob models
/ptmap for what is basically showeq
/nms to reopen loot window if you closed it
and something i TOTALLY DO NOT USE /chatfontsize #

I'm doing SSF and really struggle early on so I have to cycle taunt commands to spread out damage. I have a macro that is:
#petcmd taunt off mag
#petcmd taunt on bst
then:
#petcmd taunt on bst
#petcmd taunt off mag
and one which turns all the taunts off so I can tank.
I am farming greater icebone skelly's in guk for bronze armor lol. I always enjoy the leveling more than the end game.

Flurry. Get some of the mage summoned rune swords for mage pet and turn its taunt on. Get some cheap armor/weapons on the bazaar and load up your pet bags also.

Pet flurry and pet crit. Get to 100% in each for maximum combat spam. The keys to this build are pet combat ability and bard runes.

Check what level you get the sword of runes. That things proc adds massive survivability to pets. Used in on THJ during the whole classic > kunark progression phase.

Yeah i looked it up and it's the first thing I'm going to get when I log on today. It's level 28 or so. I went hard melee on THJ so this is my first time looking at EQ spells since like 2004, there's so much garbage. Not to mention trying to figure out what bard songs to use.

I remember back when I made my pet cuck on THJ (3rd char) the AAs that really helped huge in the beginning was the pet ones that made the mage pet tanky, there were other ones too related to pets. Like others mentioned that had them do more damage. I also used my first character SHD/ROG/SHM to farm all his shit for him I needed.
Now my pet cuck was parked in DN at 55 and I was doing the AFK pet guard here BS for AA. And I remember I could not do that until I got those AA. The mage pet would just fold until I got like 100 or so AA into pet AA. The palladius axe of slaughter is key as well. But if youre SSF, youre not getting that for a while, lol. I dont even think I saw that listed in Bazaar even once on this server. That weapon is rare from Vulak, and you cant even equip it to level it up so you either have to drop it legendary or IDK, lol. Maybe you could flip your bard into pally for a while and level it up and then switch back? IDK, this server is different, everyone is all rushing into time and forgoing the velious and luckin shit. so items like that are rare as fuck. BAck on THJ palladius was sold all the time since it was BIS for cucks so vulaak was farmed all the time for those items even into Luclin and POP. this server also has way less people too. I think THJ at its peak had what, 5K-6K people? This one has like 500 at most so trading econ is just not there.
Pet cuck was cool and all but they were highly gear dependent. You also needed your epic which made the pet OP. The item from Luclin that made pet higher level, tons of augs that helped defense, like the block ones from sleeper farm...etc... Also the spell and heal dmg had to be near max for the later raids into luclin and POP. IMO its great for a 2nd or 3rd character, but as a first, and SSF, which even makes it worse, you got some farming to do my bro. What helped too was the pre nerf Bard dmg reduction songs, but then they nerfed and it got way weaker.
