For what it is worth, anything above average is fine for casual durdling. I rerolled into aLoincloth GoddessMinerva (Tried to get a Valkyre, gave up when I got something else cool looking). I'm up to Polar Night Tower mostly on the strength of the people I've friended moreso than my team of Minerva/Blue Easter Dragon and filler.

I did get an Amaterasu on my phone, which should be interesting and grindy.

EDIT - Random question. What should I do with the terrible rare egg monsters? (Fairlion, Shardra, and such). Just sell them, feed them to others, something something?

Ronne if you play on a rooted Android device and are not scared of tedious file name changing seethis post. Giving away a decent started green/Bastet account.

I believe Df has an Amaterasu account he's trying to give away as well. Tedious to level up but once you get her evolved and her RCV up everyone wants to be your best friend.

This is all true. Usually you can derp your way up enough to luck in to a Mystic Stone Knight or Vampire at some point. Either of which you can build a good farming team around while you earn stones in anticipation of the next Godfest when you try again.

As for the crap rolls, I hold on to them. Never know when they will get some new evolve that makes them useful like Vritra has coming up.

Also, as I was typing up the previous post about crap results from rerolling I rerolled up an Isis. Yay me.

Ok I have now rooted my phone so I can run multiple accounts on it.

I didn't enjoy my time trying to dick around with ghost commander so I did a search for other root explorer apps and found ES File Explorer.

Grimmlokk sent over a zip file containing the entire app folder for a blue odin account. On my SD card I made 2 new folders. One folder to keep a copy of my entire PAD app for my Isis account and another folder to keep a complete copy of the app for the Odin account. I bookmarked each of these new folders with the ES File Explorer and then also bookmarked my data/data folder where the actual PAD app is located.

To switch accounts I load up ES File Explorer and go to my bookmarks, copy the account I want to play then paste it into the data/data folder overriding whatever one is currently there.

The entire process takes 6 button pushes and you don't have to update any files or change permissions.

There is probably a much easier way but I just learned how to root my phone and get this shit rolling in the last two hours.

Rerolling new accounts from scratch or swapping already set up ones with ghost commander is cake. I was worried because the "owner" thing on the files would be set to mine, meaning you'd have to manually rename it on every file. Which sucks a million gorilla dicks. If you can skip all that bullshit, thank fuck. Anyone else getting an account from someone else, absolutely do it that way.

Unrelated: I wildly overestimate the ease with which I could get through the trash on ancient blue asshole Legendary. Was thinking with double Shivas and tri-color I'd have the healing to keep up with the trash while I whittled them down. Not the case....

I really need to get my green team up and running, just for blue levels where my mono-red is gimp. Got a Parvati that needs a lot of attention. Green ripper. Ready to evolve ADK. Alraune. And then for 5th slot I don't know. Have low level versions of Fafnir, Toytops, and 3 MSK's. And green Noel dragon. Really wish I could have handled Two Heroes enough to get a Highlander. He'd be baller with Toytops/Parv.

edit: So as of right now we're scheduled to get 1 round of gold dragons today(Wednesday).

You get better results having both folders in data/data with different names, and then renaming one as needed. Overwriting with backup copies means you don't get any updates to your monster box etc, which can be annoying with the giant WOW splash screen when you find a "new" creature.

The permissions shenanigans is just a way to create a new account directory without having to reinstall.

When I tried the renaming method it would just crash out PAD when I restarted it. That is when I went with the different app folder method.

I tried to do that too - it worked reasonably well but cascading binds just fucked me up. Can't really stall in tricolor, so it's do a big heal, clear board, advance with 2 guys frozen for 4 rounds, don't have enough dps, need massive combo to heal, advance with 4 guys frozen for 3 rounds, etc, etc death spiral. Was depressing ;p

Plus, doing an 18hit combo and not killing the big blue trash demon is just depressing.

Yeah, that's what happens when permissions on the \lib folder and files are wrong. I wonder why copying the directory works for you, when I tried copying with ES it always set the lib folder ownership to root.

Do you know how to fix the permissions in ES? I'd like to see if just renaming folders would go quicker for swapping accounts.

I'd wager it's the file "owner" thing. I have an older version of ES, but even with root access etc set I couldn't find a way to change the "owner" thing. Or even actually see it.

Honestly, if you are swapping accounts no problem I'd say just stick with what you have going. Just keep a good back up of all the accounts somewhere safe.

I have a tenuous grasp of what the fuck is actually going on here, at best. I just know that with GC if you do the renaming but the app number(owner) doesn't match up, it crashes like described. I assume because you are launching it from one app number but it doesn't have permissions to access the necessary files since they "belong" to something else. It sounds like with ES you basically have 2 separate installs of the game, rather than just 1 with GC that you are swapping the various folders to/from by renaming.

When you long press on a file in ES you can go to properties and change some permissions, but there's no option to re-name the owner. I guess you could try fucking with the permissions etc, beats me.

Even with simple device specific instructions and videos and shit I am still terrified when I do any kind of rooting. Every single time I am positive it's the time I'll turn it in to a paper weight.

I have unbricked my GS3 4 times so far. With the tools they have nowadays, it is actually pretty hard to fubar your device.

Rerolling really makes you realize how much bullshit their pulling system is. I had kinda forgotten just how bad it can be, and shows how shitty of an investment buying stones is. Rerolling maybe 30 times during godfest yesterday, best I got was, oddly, 2 hermes, which aren't part of the godfest. Now it's back to water-fest, and have gotten jack shit but 3 star eggs over probably 20 rerolls. The amount of complete shit that comes out of this machine is staggering. BTW, none of it is water shit either, during waterfest, other than one megalodran.

I got a level 30 siren (so it was from waterfest). Man I wasn't even angry, just disappointed.

Kudos for that.

In order for me to do what everyone else has done here for multiple accounts, it seemed to install P&D on my phone twice, and only half of it sits on the SD card at any given time as near as I can tell. This creates problems as I have a shitty virgin mobile phone with like no goddamned internal memory. I've got a fucking 32gig SD card that's basically just got boob pictures on it.

I'll give this a go instead.
