Who would it actually piss off?
The Japanese player base that pays 99.9% of Gungho's profits.

They are all pissed off we got stones back for the godfest fuckup. I'm sure Gungho will give them all 100 free stones so they don't all commit seppuku.

Considering the content advancement they get (and the price disparity in stone purchases), it's pretty funny. I'm fairly sure that Gungho making the game available in the US pissed off the Japanese playerbase (resources being dedicated toward a second server set and a translation/localization/moderation team instead of solely focused on the Japanese game).

Last I had checked the cost for stones were roughly 1/2 the price. But that could be bad math on my part when checking yen conversions.
This postsays it's the same aside from exchange rates, which actually make the JP ones slightly more expensive.

But I have no idea what kind of deals they have over there. Lot of US folks buy $ cards when they find a deal, like mentioned in that thread. Who the hell knows what those shifty Asians get up to.

It feels kinda nuts. I'd be fine with throwing a few bucks at the game monthly, even with the current shitty REM. But the current prices feel like a bit much for a time-waster with no promise of getting anything above average, or even at average.

Hrm, yeah, I must have fucked up the math. But going back with the events (and free stone giveaway when the Japanese top players beat content under a specific criteria), I think to hear them complain of reimbursement for a fuckup on Gungho's side is just hysterically hypocritical.

And yeah, I have bought (and still would) buy iTunes gift cards for less than their face value. Hell, with the Apple Store app you can use iTunes money to buy an Apple computer.

True, but gamers are nothing if not self-important entitled little bitches. I guess that works globally.

So I'm still trying to figure out this HP/RCV shadow team for Hera. I missed all the metal dragons today(will catch one round at 2am) because I was farming keepers for fill ins(got 3, 1 spare for evolve purposes). If I don't level anything else and I use the level80 Lucifer on my list I'll be ~52k HP and ~7600RCV. She hits for 12354 every round. It should be simple to stay alive, can take 4 hits before I even need to heal really. The main thing I'm trying to work out is Hades.

Someone, I think Df, laid it out before and I don't remember if it was 3 or 4 RK's to keep their buff up every round for him. Cooldown is 20, he attacks every 6 rounds. Use 1st RK when Hades has 3 cooldown left. Will be 17 cooldown left when he attacks, 11 after his 2nd attack, 5 after his 3rd. So it will be ready when Hades cooldown is at 2. Next round of 3 it will be ready the round he attacks then, right? So 3 full rounds of RK's is 18 turns, times 3 is 54, plus 6 more before that. I have 60 rounds to kill him, is any of my math off?

Sounds simple, but without nuking the damage is pretty shit for this team. And ideally I'd like to not nuke him to have both ready for Hera right away and again as soon as possible.

All just a little mental circlejerk that I was trying to do in my head(I seriously can't math) while walking the dogs today. I know Hera is old news and no one gives a shit how I handle her=P

edit: Continuing my mental diarrhea...

Rounds 1-4 just kill normal. Slow as fuck, whatever.

5 Venus grind down, 430k HP but she's light, won't be too hard. Nukes should be up by now.
6 Minerva 515k HP. Nuke once to get down to 215k, then grind down I guess.
7 Ceres See above
8 Neptune Armor gimmick, nuke from Minerva should be up. 1 shot him.
9 Hades 600k. So...if the nuke from Ceres is up I think use it right off the bat I guess. Can always stall a bit at the end to get it back if my math above was right.
10 Hera 2.57mil HP. Grind grind grind nuke nuke nuke heal heal heal.

OK, I have an overly elaborate plan now, for a pretty straightforward event=P

So I think overall godfest was pretty good for me, between 26 rolls (13 + another 13) I came out sitting pretty good.
I have a fair number of gods/options I think open to me now:
For only having played 11 days, I think I'm progressing well...

Red: Titan, Red Healer, Archangel, Starter Dragon, Ripper, Mystic Knight
Blue: Ice Guardian, Blue Healer, Archangel, Isis, Starter Dragon, ripper, beast rider
Green: Odin, Archangel, Artemis, ripper
Light: Apollo, Holy Dragon, Mystic Knight, Golem mk2
Dark: Dark healer, Vampire Lord, Starter Dragon, Ripper, Golem mk3, Devil Dragon, Basilisk, Dark dragon knight

Right now I think my isis rainbow team is the best, I'm still only rank 46, so a lot of better options just simply cost too much,

Double Isis leaders (my isis is maxed, but not evolved yet) and I have about 7 isis on my friend's list, holy dragon (at 50), dark dragon (maxed out at 70), Upgraded red ogre (40), green filler (18).

I'm not 100% sure where I should focus my efforts eventually:
I would think I could also do a strong Odin team with all my RGB archangels for huge amounts of RCV and HP, maybe farm up a valkyrie and run my blue healer in the last slot, I have like 2 Amaratsu friends right now, but I could always add more for the 2nd leader.

Or I could keep Running Double Isis: use my RGB archangels and use my red healer in the last slot, although I fear my HP would be way too low compared to any of the mono-teams running 2x HP.. Or Maybe I could try to make some Indra friends (2x hp for gods, and I'd keep getting the 3xatk for isis, but still seems low considering many monoteams are 4xatk), I've only ran across 1 player using Indra out of my FL of 30 people that I've gotten from explorers in-game.

Or would it be best for me to focus on a mono-color?

Pick the RGB color you prefer(all 3 Angels have the same skills just for their color, right?) and work on that team while you plow content with your Isis team. Red probably the best way to go since you already have the 2 easy orb swappers plus Echidna. Can plug Ripper in that 4th support slot until you get something better(Horus > Freyr ~> Ares > Shiva for general support use).

Idea here is Isis will stay your farm team, at least until you get Freyr or Ares then you can decide case by case. And this mono-red Angel led team where you team up with other red Angels will be for the heavy content with your crazy HP/RCV. Special dungeons, rougher bosses etc.

Fuck Green Odin, won't need him with the angel team generally.

Not sure how I feel about the supposed 6th group member spot... I am still hitting the team cost cap right now and using non optimal subs to squeeze under... will allow for a much bigger stat cap as well...

I might just be retarded and misread.

In other news... no luck on any of the single day dungeons... so apart from more kings possibly showing up... this set of events was very lackluster for me on US

I think you end up eating one after the third rotation of keepers on the Hades fight.
Make sure you trigger the rainbow keeper ability to end right after his hit.

2x kings on green is bullshit. Spent the whole hour farming metals yesterday, pulled 8 kings.

47 minutes into greens today and I have one. That's about enough of that shit. Too much other shit to be doing on Mask day.

Also, thru chaos, light, and green dragon knights, I've managed exactly zero skillups. That's about enough of that shit too. Time to get fucked over by mystic masks for awhile, keep it fresh.

Yeah, pretty much. Between 3 mask runs and 7 MSK runs, 1 MSK drop and of course, no skill ups.
