So Fazana, are you not doing the special dungeons then? or are you able to clear master/legendary on them so you don't need to worry about farming them? After getting Noble mech, I really want the Rust mech and Sky flame, but it takes forever to farm them on expert (I'm on 30 expert rust clears, have 2 succubus from it, but still no Mech). It steals most of my stam so I'm not able to chase the same/similar set of goals...
I got the SkydragonFlame thingy on my first run on Master, I used my 5* 50% resist with a 6* Ameratasu healer friend and usual mono fire team subs to grind it down, I got lucky on getting the drop first time. Will never run it again, the dragon has very high atk but the HP on it is shite and chances are I'll never use it. Fucking typical tbh, the one drop I get is almost useless
I've still never gotten a mechadragon.
As far as the special dungeons, the one I just mentioned is a rare one in that i could do it on master with my current lineup, most of the time I have to settle for expert and the droprates are so shit on the special dungeons on expert that I've just been wasting my time it seems and getting frustrated with the game. What I am going to do instead is evolve up all that stuff I mentioned which should mean once done I have many more options to get onto the master level. i forgot to mention I have a Parvarti as well, she is a damn good wood unit.
OK I got some number questions.
With the dual element guys how is the damage calculated? Like if I take my Samurai Ogre and make him a
Wood Samurai Ogrewhen he's capped will his red damage still be full? The green will be what %?
And what's the math on combos? Like each one is X how much?
Is each orb after 3 adding 33% of the monster's damage? Like, if you have 6 orbs to match and 1 target would you be better off making a pair of 3 orbs or a single 6 orb line?
If the dual colour is a different colour, the sub colour does 30% damage. If you have one of the rare units you can evolve to dual the same colour, you only get 10% extra damage instead of 30% from it so it's probably better to dual colour unless you will always be mono teaming that unit.
In the scenario you mentioned it is better to do two lots of 3 orbs. You get +25% damage per orb added on so you may thank 175% (a 6 orb match) vs 200% ( 2 x 3 orb matches) is close BUT what you should take into account is the combo bonus which 2 matches give you. The combo bonus is another 25% so the comparison is now 175% for a 6 match vs 250% for 2 x 3 matches. Add in any leader bonuses etc and you can see how that gap is just going to keep climbing.
With multiple targets you only need to make one 5x line to get the multiple attack counted, all the others for that colour can be any amount of 3+ and they will be added the same way.
None of this takes resists etc into account either but the basic strategy holds, more combos = more damage!
Edit:
I probably should add all this to the OP, that is if any of the newcomers bother reading it anyway
