General:
- PAD or P&D or PND: Puzzle & Dragons
- Gacha: An Egg Machine (Usually people assume the Rare Egg Machine but it can also refer to the Pal Egg Machine)
- Subs: Non-leader or helper team members.
- FAV: Favorites
- 2.25x Team: Team with two Leaders that have 1.5x damage multiplier (e.g. Indian Gods [e.g. Shiva, Parvati])
- 4x Team: Team with two Leaders that have 2x damage multiplier (e.g. Starter Dragons, Skydragons, Late Bloom Dragons)
- 6.25x Team: Team with two Leaders that have 2.5x damage multiplier (e.g. ADK [Dragons], Valkyrie [Healers])
- Zombie Team: Team with 1 resolve (e.g. Ogres) or perseverance (i.e. Viper Orochi) leader, 1 healer leader, and low HP subs. Resolve/perseverance leader allows to survive killer blows and the healer leader recovers before next killer blow. The low HP subs allows the healer to recover to 75% (for resolve) or 50% (for perseverance) health quickly (usually 1 turn).
- Resolve Team: Similar to Zombie team but using high-end and high-hp monsters, and the healer leader being optional. The difference is that the resolve team is meant to survive most attacks and encounters normally, using the resolve/perseverance ability as a fail safe in case a rare hit would kill you (e.g. at the last round with a really powerful boss)

2nd-Tier Ogres (Leader: Resolve):
- Samurai Ogre #63
- Ice Ogre #65

Special:
- Ultimate Evolution (a.k.a. Busty Evolution): Special evolution only certain monsters are capable of (e.g. 2nd-Tier Ogres, Late Bloom Dragons). Requires doing a power fusion with a specific set of evo-material that varies depending on the monster. The "Begin Fusion" button begins flickering with different colors in a clearly different way than normal to indicate an Ultimate Evolution is going to take place. If it looks like the regular "Begin Fusion" DO NOT click on it as you will waste the rare material and a regular power fusion will take place. Several monsters are not yet capable of Ultimate Evolution in the current US version (v4.2) even though the JP version (v4.4) supports it (e.g. Starter Dragons).
