Completely forgot this movie. He plays a perfect creep.Big Phoenix I had rewatched Williams in One Hour Photo. Saw it back in college, and it's definitely one of his most distinct roles. It's a different type of film, but it's worth checking out.

Re-watched Casino Royale , I recall taking my then girlfriend now wife to see it at the theater. Held up very well. I liked the early action Bonds when Daniel Craig took over. 9/10 would bang.

Tried watching Azrael. Seeing drop dead gorgeous Samara Weaving paired up a you gonna get raped lookalike had me immediately turn it off.

It's not a bad movie, but yeah gotta have your coloring of shit. I guess one could argue it's the end of the world, blah blah.
The ending is the only really good part, other than that it's her just running around out in the woods.

Never saw Nightmare on Elm Street. Which is weird, because I got really big into horror movies in my teen years. I watched a bunch of the Friday the 13th movies. It may have just been an access issue.
Anyway...what the fuck? Why is this a horror classic? The script is awful with some of the crappiest lines of dialogue I've ever heard. It's like a Best of the Worst movie. But then the acting is just atrocious. Like, every single performance is bad. Even actors that I recognize (outside of Depp, since it was his first role) like John Saxon and Lin Shaye were bad. Like, really bad. The mom is probably the worst where I saw less ham performances in my niece's high school plays.
At a certain point I just started laughing at it because it was more comedy than horror. But obviously unintentional comedy.
I give it a 2/10.

This is a crazy take. I love this movie. Its effects were really innovative too. The scene where the friend dies in the bedroom being dragged up the wall was crazy for the time.

You probably needed to see it as a kid. Back in the 80s, the first one was pretty scary if you were young. The alley way arm stretching scene always creeped me out, and the mom getting pulled through the door at the end was WTF.
Does a compared to modern Day horror movies, no, but it was pretty unique for the time, and like

The second one was gay, no pun intended. I don't remember which one had the power glove, but that one's pretty hilarious.
Were there other horror movies I probably liked more from that error as a youngster, absolutely, but it was a good memory from when you were saying up watching something you weren't supposed to do as a kid.

The true ending is the one where you see the space slugs squirming out to the graveyard, and then you see the spotlights from the alien spaceship over the gravestones. As a kid with an imagination, I loved it because it was at classic '70s and '80s horror movie deal where yeah the protagonist won but the looming threat was still there.
I saw that movie and some of my friends did and I just remembered talking about it with them. Have you had any imagination it was pretty frightening but was such a fun movie.
The first three Phantasm movies are also great when you were young. Four and five were pretty bad but so worth watching if you're a fan, I mean Don Coscarelli is a legend. It's a shame we never got Bubba Ho-Tep vs The She Vampires.
I might have a soft spot for some of these movies, but they put sand in my brain!

Reggie Bannister, the ice cream man, is still one of the greatest movie heroes ever.
The whole concept of those movies was amazing. It was an inter-dimensional zombie apocalypse. The idea of it was spreading through small towns was brilliant. I love those movies as a kid and I still enjoy them to this day.

He was on The Last Drive in. If you have Shudder or AMC+ you can watch him on the show. I think it was the episode where they showed the last Phantasm. He was a great interview. They talked about filming the last Phantasm and how the actor that played The Tallman was dying but still loved the series and fans enough to power through the pain and film as often as he could.

Angus Skrim. Don Coscarelli was good friends with him over the years, as was the rest of the cast. Those movies were really a labor of love. Despite being The Tall Man, he was supposed to be a really nice guy.
Very original, and despite kind of lacking the budget towards the end, if you're a fan, you still appreciate them.
