This movie cured my

Seriously this was a very effective found footage horror. Maybe not the most original as demon + Alzheimer's has been done but it probably the best use of found footage / faux documentary I have seen in a long time

Yeah, that's a pretty good one. Been a long time since I've seen it, need to rewatch it.

Watched the last (?) Jackass movie - Best and Last. Did have some old funny bits and some newer tameish stuff but I still laughed my ass off.

Just watched it too and did laugh a lot even if half the movie was flashbacks. Crazy these guys are 50 and still shoving things up their ass or clawing at their dicks.

Was nice to see Bam be featured in a skit.

Tonight was a double feature: One was a movie that I figured would be shit but turned out to be decent.

2022 's Day Shift - Think Vampire Hunters in West LA hood. Even had Snoop in it. Unfortunately it also had that annoying ass Dave Franco in it as well. Lots of guns / blood / whatever that black shit is vampires have. Watchable but probably won't see it again . Say 6/10

Next we're starting a weekend watching Movies written by Taylor Sheldon. First up was one of his better movies;

2016 - Hell or High Water

Hell or High Water

8/10 just watch it, it's a slow burn of 2 brothers robbing banks in Texas (that was really shot in New Mexico and Arizona -according to IMDB) and the lawmen who track them down. This one I saved.

Amod Amod I fucked up the 2nd link , anyway to fix?

I liked both of these movies but I also feel Hell or Highwater is a masterpiece.

Also Taking of Deborah Logan is one of the few "found footage" movies worth watching .

Both of the Grave Encounters movies are pretty good found footage. I particularly like the second one with it being a nice take on making a sequel.

This was ridiculous in a fun way. Over the top gory that is more funny then gross and it knew what it was so it didnt try to take itself too seriously and the last act was retarded fun. Fun drunk / high movie.

Last nights double feature was more Taylor Sheridan written flicks;

We started with Wind River where I realized TS hires the same actors over and over and that I want NO part of all that snow (actually I already knew that) it's about a missing reservation kid and stars Jeremy Renner & Elizabeth Olsen (with a great cameo of Kelsey Asbille's ass)

The next flick was the 1st Sicario. This was about the border drug trade and letting the military loose. I was worried my wife would find it too gory but she enjoyed it as well.

I kept both these movies as they are worth re-watches. I'd also already forgotten most of the plots.
