Just watched Freakier Friday on a recommendation.
got to say. It’s holds up REALLY WELL. Easily an 8/10. Loved it.

I think the BEST demon possession movies I’ve seen (so far) are Evil Dead (OG), Evil Dead (remake), and then Paranormal Activity.REC is actually a demon possession movie but it seems like zombies. It’s a weird thing where you watch it and think zombies. Highly reccomend the first two though
Spoilers dude! That's what made the first two so great.REC is actually a demon possession movie but it seems like zombies. It’s a weird thing where you watch it and think zombies. Highly reccomend the first two though
I guess no one liked the alien story in the last VHS but me. I'll be watching the new one this week.
I was thinking of the Sheriffs showing up and clearing out the house and at the top is the alien bird thing, I think. The one with the cops anyway was the one I likedThe one with the chick as the only cast member? (If I remember right.) I loved that one. REALLY creepy/horrifying situation.
Watched Deadstream, positively surprised, low budget silly comedy horror of a streamer in a spooky house. But makes fun of streamers in some clever ways.
BasedDark City,
Pretty good film. I didnt realize how similar the concept was to the matrix until the end. I dont think I have seen anything comparable in terms of art direction.
There are some that are butt hurt how similar the stories are.Dark City,

I remember going with a group of friends in highschool opening night. Still a great movie, even if some of the CGI is a little outdated. You can definitely see it's influence on The Matrix.Dark City,

A lot of the special fx "tricks" that the Matrix pioneered were actually used in 1998's Blade before it.There are some that are butt hurt how similar the stories are.
Doesnt help the matrix reused a lot of the sets of dark city.
Everything is derivative of something else.Dark City and Equilibrium both beat the Matrix to the party plus the Matrix was borrowing a lot from Grant Morrison's The Invisibles.
I was a big fan of Godzilla -1. Growing up, I was a huge fan of 28 Days/Weeks Later but the infected in that movie weren’t dead. They were just ravenous and sick humans. this is what I liked about it.While on the various planes I had to take on our vacation I watched;
Ballerina: From the World of John Wick; I give it a 6.5/10. It's okay, nothing great, nothing terrible, I don't regret watching it, and I don't regret dozing off for the last 10 minutes.
Karate Kids: Legend; 5.5/10. It's okay, not structured well and clearly intended to have been a series, wasn't offensive, but was also kind of lame and uninteresting.
The Accountant 2; 4.5/10. Boring, fell asleep and couldn't be bothered to watch the rest of this. I didn't watch it on the plane, though, I watched this in the hotel room and it did not keep my interest.
Godzilla Minus One; 7/10. I liked it, kinda boring at parts and kinda awesome in others.
28 Years Later; 6/10. I only watched half of it before the excessive amount of man-penis and that I realized there were children on the plane made me turn it off. Plan on watching the rest of it just to see how it ends. Wasn't bad but it wasn't great either, Kickass is wasted in this.
Meg 2: The Trench; 3/10, or 7/10. Ambitiously stupid but I had fun. 3/10 as a movie but 7/10 for getting some laughs while not boring me.
Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire; 5/10. This was dumb, silly, and just plain stupid. I only got to see the first half but have no intention of watching the rest of it. I wasn't having a bad time watching this but I wasn't really enjoying it either.
