I actually meant goodfellas is a Christmas movie.
Sure. Any movie that even mentions December = Christmas movie.

now-reality-can-be-whatever-i-want.png

I found a list of popular movies that take place around Christmas that technically aren't Christmas movies (like Die Hard).

- Lethal Weapon
- Iron Man 3
- Batman Returns
- Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
- On Her Majesty's Secret Service (Bond)
- Mean Girls
- Eyes Wide Shut
- Gremlins
- Edward Scissorhands
- Prometheus

My question for all you nosebleeders is what are your favorite Christmas movies?

I was gonna mention this if he didn't.

There's a scene where the captain is decorating a makeshift Christmas tree.
And I remember that but I wouldn't ever consider that to be a goddamn Christmas movie. Most of that list is just cursory scenes to the fact that Christmas was taking place in whatever retarded storyline was commencing.

I mean Eyes Wide Shut it was a pretty good film, but I don't ever sit down and think man it's the holiday season I need to rewatch it.

And who the hell is going to watch iron Man 3? Stupid AI bullshit list.

I remember the first time I saw that movie I caught a matinee with a buddy of mine back in college, and then our group of friends went to go see it again that same evening. I watched that fucker twice in the same day.

Yup. That's my point. Just because a Christmas scene is in a movie, it's not a Christmas movie.

Work and choir bullshit finally died down so did some movie watching the last week, just taking in random movies I had not seen.

Palm Springs- Good romcom if you dont try to overthink the sci fi part of it. Has the lonely Island guy and the girl from Penguin, who may not be the most attractive woman but she is really good as an actress and has charm in spades.

My Dinner with Andre- Decided to do a rewatch of this and its amazing how relevant it still is. Great low key movie to chill out to.

The Mad God- Combination stop motion and real time movie on Shudder that has basically no dialog and is mostly a total mind fuck. Made me wish I still did acid occasionally.

Watchmen, Directors Cut- Yeah I love this movie and make my wife sit through it once a year. I still think its the greatest superhero movie ever made.

Naked Gun (Liam Neason 2025)- This was surprisingly funny and a great homage to the originals.

The Mad God is amazing. I think I've watched it two or three times at this point. It's just so unique and amazing, especially when you just think about the sheer amount of creativity and hard work that has to give them the producing something like that.

I mean it's unlike any other movie I've ever seen, and it's great because of it.

There are dozens of us! Dozens!

If you haven’t yet, the comic is pretty good as well. Albeit I skip the text chapters on re-reads.

I am "I read this comic book when it came out" years old, actually. I am in the rare group who actually prefers the movie ending. And of course that had to be one of the most perfectly cast movies of all time.

I think the movie ending makes a lot more sense than the octopus monster.

I am just a young whipper snapper so I watched the movie and read the comic when the movie came out in high school.

I'm sitting here wondering if that Red One movie with The Rock wasn't inspired by someone watching the beginning of Scrooged with that Lee Majors movie where Santa and Mrs Santa and the elves all break out guns to fight off whatever it was.
