Issue is it goes from really bad Reacher, to really bad television by mid-season. This means you could put on any TV series, anything else on streaming, even some CW trash, and still be better written television than this. Ep 6 was when I felt the opportunity cost. Ep 7 was an OK episode-- although I think everyone is just clearing it to clear it at this point.

TBH, with any story where it's a band of rogues against the gubmint, you have to assume it's set 30+ years ago, otherwise nothing makes sense.

Yeah I don't really understand how people can get away with any crimes anymore. You can't even shoplift without there being hd video of you doing it from multiple angles. I can't even imagine trying to be 'on the run" these days. Even if your cell phone or credit card or the gps in your car don't give you away, you can't buy gas or even walk down a residential street without being on a dozen ring doorbells. There's so much surveillance I really wonder why the cops even need the flock cameras reading everyone's license plate.

What flock gives them is the ability to search without a warrant. With all that other shit they need warrants (with the exception of ring cameras which MAY be freely available if they ask nicely)
