Yeah I just don’t get how they dropped the ball while the single player is 10/10.Man Red Dead Online was so promising. I waited to play until the Bootlegger pack, so I got to do all the careers plus the Bootlegger stuff plus the online story. So good top to bottom but just didnt have any lasting power. Running wagons of shine with friends was so much fun. Hunting and loading up Scrimps Trading Company or whatever his name was was tons of fun with friends. had a solid couple weeks of playing with a 3-4 stack running missions and shine and stuff and making a gang and running bounties etc.
Then no reason to ever play again.

Horses and Cowboy Hats stopped being exciting to little kids in the 1960’s, unfortunately.
This is right when I stopped playing. Maybe I'll start it up again. I really did want to at least finish the campaign, but I just kind of lost interest.Just wait till you get to Saint Denis, the big city. That place is a death trap, because you can't help but accidently bump into people, which turns into an all out war like you committed the worst hate crime of all time by accidently stepping on someone's toe. They seriously needed an "apologize" button to de-escalate these minor offenses before they go nuclear.
If it only gets worse then there's no way I'm going to be able to finish.Just wait till you get to Saint Denis, the big city. This is my biggest complaint and the reason why I stopped playing too. Is there a mod that prevents this or makes it happens less?Just wait till you get to Saint Denis, the big city. Look at this guy, ohhh I have precise walking abilities! !I played PC and had no issues with accidental crimes or anything like that.
One of the most immersive games I've played.
Controls are aidsUnpopular opinion: This is a bad game with a great story, atmosphere, setting, and voice cast. The controls are really rough, first of all, and the balance is basically all over the place. The horse is borderline retarded and some of the missions are just plain flat luck. Plus that whole island sequence did not need to exist.
What saves it is the great story telling experience and voice acting. The epilogue in particular is amazing as a lead up to RDR1. For all the effort they spent on story and atmopshere, they could have tightened up the horse AI and the controls.
